I am pretty sure KY and MI did not report. Death count far above same day last week.
This isn't new. They've been distorting statistics from the start. If you had a postive PCR test within the 60 days prior to your death, if you die of long-term morbidities as expected by your loved ones, you can still be counted as a Covid death.
If you weren't tested but died, the hospital can 'presume' it was Covid, no test required.
One lie after another, new lies and distortions created for 'Covid'.

You posted a “before” article from 9 Nov, and an “after” from 30 Dec. The discovery of Omicron was announced on 24 Nov. By 28 Dec, we were setting all time record highs for new case numbers.
Masks and distancing don’t work. Omicron is Omicold - mild. Fauci is fanning panic because they want to keep the EUA in effect. Without an emergency, the EUA dies.
They faked 126 in South Africa today. Russia faked 926.
Bulgaria faked 71. They are the #2 country in Covid deaths per million pop. And everyone knows they are doing it for the US midterms.
I completely forgot about the Health Emergency expiration in January 2022.
If the Health Emergency disappears, the Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J vaccines will lose their immunity from civil lawsuits.
Very unlikely that the CDC and Big Pharma will allow that to happen, but it will take many weeks before we can figure out what new magic tricks they are performing to avoid legal liability.

On 29 Dec alone, 486K were reported - far more than any day in any previous wave (294K on January 8th, 2021, was the highest day before Omicron).
No sign of a peak yet, with the steepest growth rate of the whole pandemic happening now. Explosive spread. Next week should be a doozy.
The charts being posted look like a bunch of rockets being launched! Almost straight up.
We have not seen spread this fast before from COVID.
The CFR for a severe influenza season is also 0.2%.
The USA Case Fatality Rate for Covid has been going down - in big chunks - for three straight weeks.
Europe is hitting record new daily case numbers now as well - Germany, France, the UK, Spain and others.
Asia’s Omicron wave is still in the cluster stage, but the USA and Europe are solidly into the BOOM phase.

Regardless of whatever motivations such individuals may have, the whole World is facing a giant wave of Omicron infections.
Yes, it is milder.
Yes, the masks are mainly theatrical accessories.
Yes, policy (like lockdowns) will not stop Omicron.
But the sheer volume of omicron infections, and the speed at which it is spreading, are very new to this pandemic.
The next week or two will likely see some freak out, but that will pass, as all things must. We are in for a hell of a sudden bump in COVID cases.
Sure we have. It happened in South Africa. It also rapidly subsided after several weeks. But their vaccination rate is under 25 percent, so that’s probably helping.
You have been watching the death statistics - have you noticed any significant deviations from the predicted lower fatality rate from Omicron?
So far, what I have seen still seems to bode well, for Omicron to be significantly less deadly.
