The scientist who combined two widely available over-the-counter compounds that inhibited the novel coronavirus by 99% in early tests told WND he's hopeful his treatment will be available "within months."
"An FDA-approved treatment could be in sight within months if pharmaceutical companies utilize existing clinical trial resources," said Dr. David Ostrov in an email interview with WND.
Ostrov, an immunologist and associate professor in the University of Florida College of Medicine’s department of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine, combined diphenhydramine, which is marketed as Benadryl, and lactoferrin, a protein in milk, as WND reported in December.
"My prediction is that antiviral drug combinations, such as diphenhydramine and lactoferrin, will provide a similar level of benefit as Regeneron monoclonal antibodies, Pfizer and Merck antivirals, at less than 1/100 the cost of those therapies," he told WND.
Ostrov said he knew he was facing an uphill battle in his effort to find a combination of cheap, safe and available drugs to combat COVID-19…

Yup, I have lactobacillus pills at home too, but if you need it fast, yoghurt works just as well.
How much of lactoferrin did they say you should take a day?
How much Benadryl?
I downloaded the PDF of the research, but I couldn’t find dosages.

Thanks for any help you can give.
I had called them several years ago, before the china virus. I did not ask them those questions. Sorry : (
Bump for referencing.
Thanks.
“i’m thinking bovine colostrum”
It’s a very rich source.
While briefly researching lactoferrin, it was cited as being good for a lot of things - fighting bacterial, viral and fungal infections; as well as many other benefits.
Hard to find a more benign sounding food supplement, than mother’s milk.
My GF tested positive this morning for it. I haven't seen her in 5 days so I think I'm ok, but am monitoring myself.
Please be sure to add Vitamins C & D (5000mg ea) along with Zinc (500mg) to your daily regiment.
Benadryl and whole Milk also helps. So far GF is reporting mild symptoms. She started feeling it yesterday, tested positive today. All reports of Omicron I've read are that it's a 3-4 day illness followed by quick recovery. I hope that's true for my GF, she whines about chipping a nail -- although she's kinda laughing about Omicron right now. I hope she keeps laughing through it. (Seriously!)
“Colostrum is the first form of milk produced by the mammary glands of mammals (including humans) immediately following delivery of the newborn.”
Are you using animal or human colostrum?
And take a Benadryl.
Yoghurt is especially gag inducing. When Hubby eats it I have to leave the room. The smell...
I’m eating homemade yogurt already regularly (full fat, whole milk). I wish I could figure out how much lactoferrin is in that, maybe I’m good already
Diphenhydramine causes dementia.
This guy might as well be contracting with Bill Gates for population reduction.
Can we just stick with quercetin, zinc, vitamin D, vitamin C, and ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine when necessary?
I take 400mg a day of Lactoferrin along with 1500mg of Acetyl L-Carnitine, 1000mg of Quercetin, 125mg of Vitamin D3, 1000mg of Vitamin C and 1000mg of Mullein each day.
I had the crap in February, hospitalized for 3 weeks, laid up at home for another three before I could return to work but havent gotten the jab yet. I still have anti bodies and paid for a T Cell Immunity test of which I was positive (a very good thing).
I have to think that between my antibody status and the fact that I havent curtailed my social and work activities since recovering that this as well as the OTC supplements have helped me not get it again.
Just saying....like Hannity, I'm not a doctor (|:^)
it looks like a lot of these studies give 200=250 mg/day lactoferrin for various treatments.
That’s a quart of milk. Which would be well less than a pint of greek yogurt the way i make it. I’ll just eat my yogurt with blueberries
ok i found out i can get what i want from 12oz full fat yogurt, but it can’t be greek because the lactoferrin is strained out with the whey
haha
