Yes. Sadly we humans, especially in the west, are way too protective of “human life” that should not be protected.
It’s one of the reason we’re sliding down the crapper.
This guy was just stupid but not evil. There are many who are stupid and/or evil. Society would be much better off without such “human life”.
Instead we cuddle criminals, druggie, lazy bums... with the obvious results.

Currently, there are more than 25,000 Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and other large carnivores living outside of our zoo system in America. These animals can be found in people's back yards, basements, apartments, garages, roadside zoos and other terribly unnatural places. There are no places for them to go other than a Sanctuary like ours where they can be given a new life free from exploitation and abuse.
Great place to visit; bring walking shoes and binoculars.

The tiger was just punishing stupidity. As a reward the tiger should have been allowed to chew off and eat the entire arm, and the man should have left with one arm less than he came in with.
Cleaner should have been shot for being stupid.

Or . . . perhaps the cops didn't want to wait half an hour for the tranquilizers to take effect.
Apparently the zoo failed to inform/train it’s contractors not to stick their arms into the cages of wild animals because they can eat you. I would guess the zoo is hiring some really stupid people as cleaning contractors.
…as a reminder to not do the same with the other arm.
