Amazing to see the $hot $hills stoop so low as to attempt to smear him, over info he’s researched/provided....sounding just like the censoring leftist media platforms, rather than be disgusted that a person can be so easily cancelled, at the whims of the lying left.
Sorry, but the constitution does not guarantee anyone the right to free social media expression. It’s their service and they can refuse access to anyone.

LinkedIn was a job hunting connection. You could have people who might be interested in you for contract work look at your credentials. It was interesting how some of the more obscure little thing might give you a boost. For example I once got a job offer simply because I had worked with the relative of someone who worked in another company. Her uncle was impressed enough with my work that he had mentioned it and when my name crossed her radar it was enough to tip the scale.
I haven’t updated my profile in years. I still get some calls based on my profile but I don’t think too much about it anymore.
So the phone company can refuse to hook up your phone, the mail service may refuse to deliver to you, the electric company can refuse to sell you energy and the water company can cut you off?
Well no.
They get certain special protections and in return they must supply service to everybody.
The Media sites also got special protection in exchange for allowing people to speak freely on their platforms. And now, under pressure from the government they are shutting down certain voices.
You think that this is perfectly ok.

I hate people who post political crap on LinkedIn. That’s not the purpose of LinkedIn. Save that crap for facebook
But when I was doing contract work it was useful.
I do get the occasional offer and I might take it if the job is interesting enough and I can work it in.
I was erased by Facebook in a similar manner. I don’t miss it.

I deleted my linkedin account after running an experiment. I was b/w jobs at the time. I was getting nowhere. I took my exact profile but changed the name to an Indian one. Tons of recruiters. Changed up a few more things; age, gender and got even more. I then realized that many of the recruiters didn’t want us evil middle aged white men. So, f’m, and I went back to work in a role in which it is illegal to hire non citizens.

I would, but I have family and old associates and friends who are members. I’ve learned the hard way not to post anything like that for fear that it’ll come back and bite me in the ass down the road.
If you’re retired, what would family and old associates and friends do if you posted on LinkedIn to get your account cancelled?
I still get the occasional contact or query from them. I imagine it would have to be pretty far to step over the line. So, I jut let the account lie fallow. Even my personal info is so out of date I probably lived in another state when I signed up.

Last year 2020 I was using HostPapa as my provider for my website and email. They recently bought LunarPages which hosted my website since 2007.
I could not send an email to my relative about the Bidens in 2020
I used terms the HostPapa company did not like. They are based in Canada.
It said the message was “classified as SPAM and may not be delivered”
They were blocking due to terms like pedophile, molested and because I mention Biden’s name. Bidens troubles are being blocked by the news media and others.
I now use Bluehost.com which had my website and email all working in less then an hour. Their support chat was great as were the walkthrus for the setup.
The socialists / democrats do not believe in free speech.
There's a site called Stack Overflow where geeks share computer tips and can get info on job openings. You can also get into arguments on LGBTQ issues and whether women and minorities are underrepresented in the comp sci field. But good luck keeping your account if you have the "wrong" opinion.
