I got sick last night....
The Fop

Posted on 12/26/2021 4:13:14 PM PST by The Fop

..... And I'll never know whether or not it's COVID, because I refuse to get tested.

Started getting chills and body aches after attending a Christmas party. Not crazy shivers and fever like the flu, but more mild. Rested all day today, took Tylenol, and feeling much better. Will rest again tomorrow and see if I develop stuffed nose and cough.

The point is, prior to COVID, if a bunch of people who know each other, or work together, were getting sick, they'd say "I think there's something going around". And then they'd get over it and get back on with their lives.

That's exactly what I intend to do, even if the whole world around me has gone completely nuts.

With Covid, Hubby and I both had excruciating headaches for three or four days. My cousin, too. No normal headache remedy made a dent.

not trying to gin up fear. you’re probably going to not need it. but maybe send a friend to get one for you today. sars is not common but when things go south, they go south quick and within the first 5 days to a week from what i’ve both read and experienced.

That is a very good sign. Get well soon. I will add you to my Prayers tonight.

Yes, no cold symptoms yet. I had a little headache this morning from staying in bed too long. It went away immediately after I took Tylenol.

Psalms 91 is an excellent passage for Christians to focus on.

But, like the flu…if it gets out of control…you get it treated. Don’t be a stubborn old fool.

Yes, many people don’t realize this, and actually scoff at doctors for “overtreating” when they prescribe antibiotics for viral bronchitis. My doctor always did this. Strangely, I felt better right after taking the antibiotic, which means the bacterial action was already getting started.

Now I take plenty of vitamins and herbal virus killers so I don’t get colds very much at all anymore.

The people here encouraging me to go get tested don’t seem to realize that they can keep this going forever, since there’s always going to be a new cold and flu season.

I think they shot their load with the alpha strain, which was quite strong for certain people. Now the evil liars are running on fumes. Fauci & Co. would love nothing more than for people to be getting tested “just to be sure” 15 years from now.

You can’t walk 10 feet anywhere in New York City without being bombarded by some message telling you to get tested, get boosted, get vaxxed.

I’m hard wired to give them the middle finger. There’s not an ounce of truth or sincerity to anything they say or do. Just raw evil.

Sure, some people die of COVID, because they either couldn’t get access to therapeutics, or it never even entered their mind to try. That doesn’t change the fact this was a planned bio weapon and they’re lying about everything.

Finding out whether or not I have COVID is meaningless to me. If we wanted to save grandma, then we’d be shutting down schools, Christmas parties, and other activities every cold and flu season, to cut grandma flu deaths in half or more.

For years it was fine to take TheraFlu or Nyquil, and then go spreading our germs everywhere because we feel so much better, even though we’re still contagious..... Grandma be damned! But now all of a sudden, I should be worried about vulnerable people, because the evil billionaires told me so.

yeah. abbott, right? i’ve heard not such good things about them, to be honest. sloppy tests are their hallmark lately.

wifey says they got a batch early in their lab and found poor sensitivity, poor specificity in trials (they are a national reference lab). of course, this is a different test (the one we saw as a point of care test) and it could be ok. just don’t trust that company myself. (full disclosure, both my wife and i worked in medical fields).

So is the ivermectin you’re using the horse dewormer type or the pills? If it’s the paste, how do you injest it? Spread it on a cracker? Blend it in with a smoothie?

We got our oximeter from Amazon. It came in two days, and during Covid we would check about every four hours. It’s a cheap way to keep an eye on your health and know whether to panic or not.

seems to be a bad case of food poisoning.

I hate food poisoning. It has twice landed me in a hospital. IV fluids can work wonders after your body has worked for hours to expel everything it can from every available path.

For $20....I don’t expect much. My wife works works with vented covid patients so if we need the real tests we get them. We just keep these around for a quick look incase we feel any symptom at all. Considering our exposure we try to keep a heads-up on symptoms.
