Thanks for posting. My dad was on a decline over the past couple years. December 23rd of last year was the last day he got dressed and sat in his chair looking out the bay window (and needed quite a bit of help doing both). Later that day, the hospital bed arrived at our house and once he got in it, he never got out of it again.
Rush passed away on February 17th and Dad passed away six days later.
I'll always associate one's passing with the other.

I turned off my radio the day Rush died, and I haven't turned it on since. I doubt I will ever turn it on again.
Like Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, Rush Limbaugh was the kind of talent that only comes along once in a century. He is irreplaceable.
While Franklin and Twain left only their writings -- and Hal Holbrook's "Mark Twain Tonight" preserved on videotape, Rush left us with thousands of hours of his thoughts preserved for posterity. He may well be listened to and quoted a century from now.

I heard it the first time, live, without facing what was likely (and actually) around the corner. Not sure I could hear it again. Still too soon.

Most poignant cartoon since the American Eagle sharpening his talons right after 9/11.
