California dean publicly mocks 'stench' of conservative agenda as racist and unintelligent

A dean at San Diego State University described the "Right’s agenda" on Twitter as one of racism, unintelligence, and inequality while also using the word "stench" to identify conservatives.

"Just so we’re clear on the Right’s agenda: racism good, abortion bad, money good, women bad, capitalism good, sustainability bad, stupidity good, science bad, power good, equality bad, white people good, nonwhite people bad. Stench, indeed," SDSU’s dean of the College of Arts and Letters, Dr. Monica Casper, tweeted on December 1 and first reported by College Fix.

I first realized how far left higher level Ed. Was going in 2002. My oldest daughter was publicly mocked in her freshmen literature class by the female professor.

They had read a story where an immigrant (illegal ) working for an affluent American woman broke her dishes on purpose as a protest against the “inequality’ shown in the story. So the class lesson was to discuss all the leftist morays of the story and my daughter was asked her opinion. She said it was always wrong to illegally damage someone’s property, for that she was ridiculed—in front of the entire room.

“California dean publicly mocks ‘stench’ of conservative agenda as racist and unintelligent”

Not much news going on for Fox, I guess.

I almost hope the commies take over and kill all of academia and the press, like they always do to these useful idiots.

IIRC, the current standard in California is shoplifting up to $950 or some amount like that is not a crime that will be prosecuted. What a crying shame.

The left has been working on destroying the foundations of this country. Professors want to being about this utopia of Marxism which will take away their own positions, something they choose to ignore. There will no longer be any high paid teachers in colleges once the country goes completely communist.

But seriously, the story of an illegal breaking the dishes in protest sounds fake. Protest again inequality? I mean, the Left actually designs a society built on inequality now. Look at California, a leftist design that has engineered inequality in it. Illegals picking the fruit, vegetables, cleaning toilets, washing clothes, essentially the servants of the elitist leftists. Blacks are forced into their own neighborhoods and kept under control with drugs and prostitution. Blacks are angry at Asians because they are being successful, so they attack them and their businesses. Leftists blame the white middle class for the attacks who are perplexed as they played no part in it.

Racism is a construct of the Leftist design to create separation and segregation. To have their own neighborhoods, their own identity, and own heritage. Each group must be taught to hate the other. Leftism works hard at keeping racism a part of their culture.

Our entire nation is being destroyed because of leftism.

Yes, I think it was a fiction short story. The professor choose it to further her politcal agenda I’m sure.

What an idiot. With people like this in charge at universities, a college “education” is utterly worthless.

I personally despise the vile stench of Leftism and say so openly if asked.

In an official position, I would not support Leftist policies, but I might be reticent in speaking out on them beyond not supporting them.

However, I feel they are forcing people to choose sides, so...I don’t have a problem doing that openly.

Is it me or do these people sound exactly like some of the characters from orwells "1984"?

I swear to God almighty, social media has to be destroyed to save humanity from itself. The devil has perfected the use of social media for the destruction of man. Porn, fools, mentally disturbed, socialism, global warming, fear of each other, fear of riots, racism, anti Christianity, its all the devil controlling people too stupid to think for themselves. And social media is the means to keep the worlds population at each others throats.

We've been divided and are being picked off one group at a time.

And Walgreen’s is shutting down numerous locations because of that. The same sort of people who were activists for no bail and no prosecution for “minor” shoplifting will be protesting food and shopping deserts.

BARF!

A native of Chicago, Monica J. Casper is Dean of the College of Arts and Letters and Professor of Sociology. She received her BA in sociology from the University of Chicago, her PhD in sociology from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in biomedical ethics at Stanford University. Prior to joining SDSU, she was Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Inclusion and Professor of Gender and Women’s Studies in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arizona.

An expert on women’s health, Dr. Casper has published several books, including the award-winning The Making of the Unborn Patient: A Social Anatomy of Fetal Surgery; Missing Bodies: The Politics of Visibility; The Body: Social and Cultural Dissections; and Critical Trauma Studies: Understanding Violence, Conflict, and Memory in Everyday Life. Her current manuscript, Babylost: Racism, Survival, and the Quiet Politics of Infant Mortality, from A to Z, addresses racial politics of infant and maternal mortality in the U.S. Additional projects focus on domestic violence and traumatic brain injury (with Daniel Morrison) and global biopolitics of elephant trauma and sanctuary in the Anthropocene.

With longstanding and deep-rooted concern for issues related to violence against women, Dr. Casper co-founded the Consortium on Gender-Based Violence at the University of Arizona, securing a $1.5 million keystone gift to do so. She continues to be involved in the Consortium as both co-founder and member of the Advisory Board. Related to this work, Dr. Casper is invested in learning more about the impact of violence on student retention—an understudied yet urgent research topic.

A committed champion of other scholars’ work, Dr. Casper is founding co-editor of the NYU Press book series “Biopolitics: Medicine, Technoscience, and Health in the 21st Century” and founding co-editor of the UA Press Book Series, “The Feminist Wire Books: Connecting Feminisms, Race, and Social Justice,” as well as a managing editor of The Feminist Wire and publisher of TRIVIA: Voices of Feminism. She is also a creative writer, with essays and stories in Mojave River Review, Moonsick Magazine, and The Linnet’s Wings, among other literary journals.

Recently, she melded her love of gardening with her scholarly expertise in trauma to launch Gardening Through Grief, a site devoted to examining the relationship between gardening, grief, and loss. The first Call for Submissions focused on “Pandemic.”

Dr. Casper is a proud mom to two daughters, Macy and Delaney. And though they appear on this final line of her biography, they are first in her heart; the two beautiful reasons why she works so hard to craft a better world.
