Preface: I am not looking for medical advice or help in decision making. Just venting and hoping to get an idea of how other folks in my situation are making out or how they are preparing.
So… my job has a strict vaccine mandate that is set to start Jan 4th. Basically, if I don’t load my card into the HR system which collects these, I will be fired from my job on Jan 5th… no severance. My religious exemption, originally approved at first, was ultimately denied, and they are not allowing exemptions for remote workers (like me), nor periodic testing in lieu of an injection. Despite numerous back and forth emails with HR, they are sticking to their guns (or needles) with this directive.
I was at first dead set on not getting it for the same reasons and fears that everyone else has. I was hoping that the various court challenges, etc. would put a pause on it until I found a better job, but that didn’t happen.
I would normally welcome the idea of time off (especially while living in Florida), however, IF i did find a job, I would take a significant cut in pay. Also (and most importantly) personal insurance would be too expensive per month (Thanks Obama). I have some orthopedic issues I need to have addressed in the coming year and cantt afford the premiums or deductibles on an individual Florida Blue plan.
I just moved to Florida (working from my mother’s house, job HQ in NJ) and need to afford buying a condo (housing prices are through the roof). I won’t be able to finance if I don’t have a job, and I worry I wouldn’t be able to afford monthly HOA/condo fees and taxes if I pay cash.
I am between a rock and a hard place. At this point, I am debating just getting the J&J/Janssen one and done, as the risk of side effects (as a mid-40s male) seems the least compared to the mRNA ones, and it’s more like a traditional “vaccine” compared to the gene therapy of the others.
Anyone else gone through or facing a similar situation/decision? How did you/are you managing through it and making ends meet? I am not so much worried about a salary as I am the insurance coverage (once again, thanks Obama!).
The worst of them should begin having "accidents", before they obtain the power to put us in the camps. Preemptive self-defense is self-preservation.
Most of those same millions would be dead anyway, just a few days, weeks or months down the road. And many more are dead because they were denied early treatment with cheap and effective medications.
J&J must’a fallen behind on their bribe payments.
bh$hot$hill fails to mention the lying (admittedly, by CDC) fake death numbers, by likely all govts, in its count of “millions” of CHINA VIRUS deaths, worldwide.
🙄
No one’s buying what you’re $hilling, here, vaxocrat.

has a mission to help with these evil mandates
I have only read their news section. I did not use their legal service.
I was let go of my contract position in the high-tech industry in October. I’m starting another contract this January with slightly less pay. We all have to make choices. Imagine if the founders took the easy way.
We’ve already been told that numbers related to Covid cannot be trusted.
Too bad this didn’t happen in 2023. I’d make them swing on a rope. I would be eligible to retire but they have already said they can’t let me go because we are short-staffed and I do all the stuff no one else wants to do plus some of the new stuff.
My recollection is that you cannot put someone on unpaid leave to keep them from getting unemployment. If it was legal, every company would do it.
Ask any doctor (or use google!) to show you of examples of healthy people who have died or been severely wrecked by covid. Sure, its much worse if you’re fat or old, but, but to suggest they would be dead in a few months is insanity. You’re spreading deadly misinformation that some people are listening to.
Thank you; I needed exactly that today.
I believe the law applies to all private employers who have employees working in FL. Here is a link to the FAQ about the law:

Start looking for another job.
I am between a rock and a hard place. At this point, I am debating just getting the J&J/Janssen one and done, as the risk of side effects (as a mid-40s male) seems the least compared to the mRNA ones, and it’s more like a traditional “vaccine” compared to the gene therapy of the others.
Heres what you do. Get a legal paper drawn up and take it to HR that you agree to take the jab under the condition that they will in perpetuity assume responsibility for all adverse side effects of the vaccine, including blood clots, heart enlagement, or numerological damage caused and created by the vaccine since they are demanding you take a vaccine that has yet to be approved by the FDA since, there is no vaccine approved for Omicron. Then get fired and jump on the class action lawsuit bandwagon with the rest of those fired with you. No job, no matter the pay is worth this shot!
Have this little 'discussion' with the folks who are going to fire you:
I have read that the vaccine manufacturers cannot be held liable for anything that causes me harm from the shot.
Do you know if YOU will be held responsible for problems I might have from the shot?
Have YOU been given an assurance that I cannot sue YOU if something goes wrong?
You know that people all the way down the chain of command end up getting sued these days; so, do YOU really have the POWER to fire me?
I hope your homeowner's insurance can cover any of my expenses incurred in the future.
Freedom’s just another word...
Surely there will be enough SUFFERING to spread around a little!
Tent cities on CEO lawns won't be a very good optic.
‘Tis a good start!
And afterward as well.
