He just doesn't get the symbolism of a german shephard. And the rest of us don't get why the family of a 79yo man who can barely totter along would give him a puppy of an active, working breed that requires a strong alpha leader

If Brandon came to our German shepherd rescue looking for a dog at least three of our adoption counselors would tell him no.

When the agent is asked to make coffee they have two choices
1. Makes the perfect pot in every way and is smiled upon with kindly affection.
2. Make the absolute worst coffee ever consumed, and never be asked to make coffee.
When an agent is asked to take the dog out or empty the cat box, they have two choices... outside or master bedroom.

His family really are a bunch of idiots. Why on earth would they think it was a good idea to give this old man a puppy. I guess they know he won’t be the one taking care of it, cleaning up after it. That dog will only be around Biden for photo ops.

So he treats the American people like children when they’re told the dog went to live on a farm with wonderful people…

Gents, it’s a win-win for Brandon.
First, puppies & kittens are cute and may help his poll numbers temporarily.
Secondly, he really, really needs a dog around to blame his, err, flatulence on.

Props! I saw a Prop “Covered Wagon” Saturday. Damn thing was only about 2.5 feet wide. It was for show only.
Same reason That sorry arse pair in the White house got a pussycat and a large, perceived to be masculine dog.

It wasn’t the doggie that cr@pped on the carpet. The pup is an innocent scapegoat.

Tell me about it. My son brought home a stray, don't exactly know the breed, maybe a labrador. Anyhow, it was about a year old, and it was too much for me to handle, let alone my wife. He was a good dog, too, lovable as could be...just too much to handle.
After about six weeks, we took him to a shelter. It wasn't long before he was adopted. My son did a good thing, bringing him home. It was obvious that his previous owner just cut him loose, probably lived in an apartment and didn't take care of him.

FFS, this is total think tank propaganda BS. It is sad and hilarious. Wait for the top news story and the sleight of hand.

Reminds me of when the Clintons got a dog and a cat while they occupied the white house. They never struck me as animal lovers. I felt sorry for the critters then, just as I do now.
To: blueplum
Well, ain’t that cute.
I’m all for animal companions, but I firmly believe that when you take on an animal, you keep it and care for it no matter what happens, because you’ve accepted the *responsibility*.
Why is Major farmed-out? Too much trouble, and not good PR?
