DETROIT (AP) – Hospitals across the country are struggling to cope with burnout among doctors, nurses and other workers, already buffeted by a crush of patients from the ongoing surge of the COVID-19 Delta variant and now bracing for the fallout of another highly transmissible mutation.

So what you're saying is that the hospitals have had two years to prepare for Serge, and what they did instead is fire PureBlood health care workers...
From June to September 2021, 85% of COVID-19 hospitalizations were among those not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and 15% were among fully vaccinated people. The share of COVID-19 hospitalizations among people not fully vaccinated was similar in June, July, August, and September 2021 (87%, 87%, 86% and 83%, respectively).
Please get it right you always get it wrong it’s Kyrgyzstan not China
There is very little chance of that although I do see you have it maybe a year of seniority on me here… LOL
There is anecdotal stories and there are cases reported of negative reaction to the vaccines, nobody is challenging that, the anecdotes and the stories . yes but ***as a total percentage of the total population of vaccinated***, it is minuscule, and as I just said those in YS hospitals currently for COVID on ventilators or even worse intubated are ******overwhelmingly if not exclusively unvaccinated****… End of story
I’m tired of seen Branch Covidian Vax success or unvaccinated failure stories. You had to dig this one up from Borneo Bulletin and it’s nothing but AP trash that didn’t make it to the big venues with any publicity I can see.
Easy, hire back all the staff you terminated because they would not get the gen altering death jab. Any other questions?
I am quickly reaching the point of not arguing with anyone any more. What is going on is insane. I know the Fed boys are starting to watch all of this interaction. They have THEIR agenda. We are in for a huge shock at what is going to happen in this country over the next few years.
There are safer and more effective ways to prevent covid hospitalizations than the so called vaccine.
Thank you for your post👍
You’re talking to a brick wall....
FEAR PORN
Seems to be an easy enough problem. If our hospitals are becoming full, we need to set up field hospitals. If our medical staff is overwhelmed, call up the National Guard and have them treat COVID-19 patients, freeing up our doctors and nurses to treat patients injured in car accidents or suffering from heart attacks.
If Omicron displaces Delta, it might actually alleviate the strain on hospitals, even if it causes more cases, if it is mild enough.
We will have to see how it plays out.
The worst case is that the two strains don’t interfere with each other much, and add up on the hospitals.
👍🏻👍🏻
Hey, I have an idea, lets fire 1/3 of the nurses and doctors because they won’t get jabbed, even though they probably have natural immunity by now.
Yeah, that’ll work.
Depends on how contagious it is. If it is that much more contagious and it is only slightly milder, then it wouldn't alleviate the strain on hospitals. But we should find out in a couple of weeks.
As of today there are 6179 hospitals, with 776,546 hospital beds in America reporting to HHS. Of those beds, 605,544 are in use total. Of those in use, 68,208 are beds with Covid patients. Our hospitals nationwide are at 77.98% capacity. 8.89% are Covid beds in use nationwide.
As of Aug. 11, HHS data indicated that nationwide, about 76.4% inpatient beds in the U.S. were in use — and 10.5% of those beds were in use for Covid.
Nationally, 75.4% of ICU beds in the U.S. are in use, and 22.2% of those beds are in use for COVID-19.
