Dr. Anthony Fauci does not believe the pandemic will reach a state in which Americans can go without masks in closed spaces, even with good filtration.
Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly told a U.S. Senate panel on Wednesday that "masks don’t add much, if anything" in fighting the spread of COVID-19 on airplanes.
In a direct rebuke of Kelly’s comments, Fauci told ABC’s "This Week" that he doesn’t believe the pandemic will reach a state in which masks will be unnecessary – especially for closed spaces.
When asked point blank if he thought there might be a point where masks are unnecessary on airplanes, he said "I don’t think so."

This is coming from a guy that almost 2 years ago said, that under no circumstances, should anyone other than health personnel in the industry or those vulnerable, wear a mask. If he believes in the science, then it blows my mind with all of the evidence from science, that masks don’t work. This is about control.

Ackchtuaaaally a plane cabin may be the most sterile environment any non-surgeon ever enters, as far as airborne pathogens. The circulation in a modern passenger craft functions so efficiently that your exhalations are pulled downward even before they would reach the person in the seat next to you. No masks in planes.

This fraud needs to go. The airline industry is going to collapse under this mandate BS. There’s nowhere to travel under draconian COVID rules anyway, and requiring masks disincentives elective travel.
The first things of many things that they will want permanent ending with boosters every 6 months

Fauci’s two daughters are already full grown. He doesn’t have to worry about his child becoming oxygen deprived and possibly brain damaged from spending most the day with their access to fresh air being compromised.
My plan: go without a mask and go without Fauci.

While his big money kickbacks are likely coming from Big Pharma, I suspect he’s got a stake in some companies that make masks as well.

Technically he’s right here.
I took a flight last Christmas, completely sold out flight and packed like sardines. The airline touted their hepa filtration air system that made flying “safe” in these pandemic times.
The flight pulled away from the gate (as is tradition because the FAA counts you as a late departure if you don’t leave the gate on time but it’s a-ok if you detach from the gate but don’t actually go anywhere) and then, because of the heavy christmas traffic so the runways were full and to save fuel... TURNED OFF THE ENGINES - which has the same effect of... turning off the air circulation system.
And there we sat for 15 minutes as 300 people packed in a closed space with no social distancing packed the air with their breaths with no circulation and filtering.
At that point my government mandated mask (which, btw, has its own internal filter because it’s an actual MASK and not a piece of paper I use to LARP as a doctor with) was going to be about as good as paper windows in a rain storm.
Is “Fauci says” the new “Simon says?”
We’re all going to die! Again.
I am getting real mad at people who had the chance to get rid of this piece of crap, but didn’t .
