I saw an interview with him not long after that criminal case was settled. LT is not stupid by any stretch, but his stunted emotional maturity was startling. I had the impression that I was seeing an eight year-old child in a man’s body.
Didn’t he admit drug use about a decade ago.

Sean Taylor would have left his a distant memory. Saw him say “BOO!” to a receiver and the receiver instantly dropped the ball. Sean could dominate the game on a mediocre team like the deadskins.

Her problems were surely unknown to Taylor and should not be used against him.
I don’t knw much about the personal life of Taylor but no matter his emotional age the specific crime he was found guilty of was imo not a crime at all given the circumstances.

I don’t believe Taylor knew the prostitute was 16 yrs old. If he did then he deserved what he got. I don’t know about you but I have known of underage girls while growing up who could have easily passed for 18.
He pleaded guilty to the charges. That’s all I know. All I’m saying is that there might be some damaging facts of the case here that he knows about — and you and I don’t — that motivated him to do that.
He was charged with having sex with a minor. He had no possibility of a case if he denied having sex so he admitted to it. The problem after that was the girl was a minor, something he may not have known but it doesn’t even matter if he knew or not or if the girl had ID to indicate she was 18.
The difference in punishment for soliciting a prostitute and sex with a minor is pretty significant.
Prostitution is an ugly, evil business; degrading to everyone involved.
Anyone with any common sense knows that most female prostitutes start out being trafficked, when young and then kept in the game through drug addiction and/or violence.
When a bar serves alcohol to a minor and something bad happens, the estblishment is held responsible, regardless if a fake ID was shown.
This is not about morality. Prostitution is legal in many places around the world including here in America. This is about what I believe is an improper morals charge against Taylor.

The cops definitely could have handled this better.
