They're having that debate in the NFL right now. Many of the players won't know that they had it in the first place due to all the testing they're having to do.
Reportedly, high loads of Omicron have already been detected in some of sewage surveillance program’s samples.

People are dying because fauci denies us early treatment. No hydro or Ivermectin or nasal spray. When you have covid they just tell you to go home and if it gets bad come back to the hospital. Then it is too late.

We haven’t been told it yet, but she likely was briefed on mutation rates. As for the vax, there is a hint of desperation about it. If it was 10% more protection they would say “a degree of protection” because they are desperate and have nothing else to try.

One observes that the scary graphs are all different scales, not numerically similar and based on a common measure. Thus “new cases,” “new deaths” and “currently hospitalized” are not to a similar scale. Looks really bad.

That is a grim article that you linked.
I would note that the guy they quote, who I think is leading that team at Imperial College (Neil Ferguson), is the same guy who came out with the most pessimistic projections of deaths early in the pandemic (far worse than what actually occurred), which was influential in driving the policy of lockdowns. He may be inclined to be overly bearish.
Another bit I found interesting in it, is this:
“The distribution of Omicron by age, region and ethnicity currently differs markedly from Delta, with 18–29-year-olds, residents in the London region, and those of African ethnicity having significantly higher rates of infection with Omicron relative to Delta”.
“Those of African ethnicity” is a newly identified risk factor, to my knowledge. It may be coincidental, if some neighborhoods or sub-communities just happened to be getting hit harder during the snapshot timeframe of this study. The early reports of Asian ethnicity being a risk did not seem to pan out as the pandemic proceeded.

Now let's consider the Fauci-led response to the pandemic over these last two years.
Worldwide percentage of “official” deaths is easily calculated as 0.0675 %. The Fauci-led US percentage is about 3.7 times as high.
To what should we attribute this differential? Obviously on any simple metric, the Fauci-led response is much WORSE than the world's in general.
Trust Fauci? Trust the Fauci Hospital Protocol? Trust the data? Trust the "grim" modeling coming from the Imperial College in the UK? Trust "from" with "with?"
I trust verified a simple overall view:
Less than one quarter of one percent “officially” dead FROM and WITH Sars CoV2 over almost two years time.
Less than one quarter of one percent comprises this "event" even with all the scary pictures, media hysterics, and Walensky's crying, and Fauci on television many times a week, and "grim" forecasts.
Less than one quarter of one percent over two years.
