Knicks legend and current broadcaster Walt Frazier has entered into COVID-19 protocols, joining three of their players, according to a source. He is expected to miss 10 days as the virus keeps spreading within the organization.
Frazier turned 76 last March. He was recently on a holiday hiatus around Thanksgiving but was on the San Antonio-Indiana-Toronto road trip where the Knicks seemed to have picked up the virus.
In addition to Frazier, the Knicks have three players out due to COVID-19 – Obi Toppin, RJ Barrett and Quentin Grimes. The rookie Grimes tested positive on Tuesday, according to a source.

The a$$clown Gov of NY was just calling the outbreak in NY a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” earlier today. Meanwhile all these guys got vaxxed.
But aren’t most of these NBA guys vaxed?
They’re just generating “positive” COVID tests to generate more scare before the end of year holidays. No one appears to be sick. It’s just that the American population as a whole has no f*cking clue how viruses work and have since our recorded history.
How many NBA players have died from covid?
He “entered into COVID-19 protocols” - what does that even MEAN at this point? Is he ill? Does he even have the sniffles? Did he even test positive or was he simply exposed to someone who has and therefore is being quarantined? The article is completely silent about all that.
He was a great player and I enjoyed him as a broadcaster when living in NY; I certainly don’t wish the man any harm. I, like many others here, am simply tired of these fact-light scare-mongering headlines/articles.

boy oh boy, Clyde was so fun to watch back when i was following sports.
his battles with the Bullets (my team) and Earl the Pearl were never surpassed for me, even by the so called goats.
but, i can go back to when i was a kid and and thrill in my mind to those old playoff games on a tiny screen with Earl and Clyde, still hear Cosell or some other great announcer calling out “...and AGAIN it’s Frazier gliding in...”
His broadcasts of the Knicks games are worth the price of the NBA league pass. He’s wonderful.
Given the unreliability of many PCR tests for COVID, you really wonder just how accurate the COVID positives are. After all, when even LeBron James tested positive one time (but tested negative other times).... 😒😑🙄
It just means he has to follow special NBA rules, which vary depending on symptoms and vax status. It could be triggered by symptoms, positive test, or being deemed a close contact to someone with COVID.
I used to hang out on the Eastside of Manhattan 1970-1972. Hot pants heaven. I exchanged pleasantries with him a few times- nice guy.
Well I hope to God that someone is telling him to take Vet D3, K2, Zinc, Quercitan, and C. And Ivermectin from any source but I’m sure he can get the pharmacy stuff.
With all of the information out there about the harm from the clot shots and the preventatives against the fauci flu I find it harder to feel sorry anyone who doesn’t heed advice.
The bodies are stacked so high we can’t count them all....

When are they going to admit masks and vaxes make no difference to stopping a disease?
