The search is underway for a woman who reportedly went overboard on a cruise ship off the coast of Ensenada, Mexico, about 80 miles south of San Diego.
Passengers on the Carnival Miracle were informed in the morning that the woman, who has not been publicly identified, fell from the balcony of her stateroom on the ship...
Crews from the U.S. Coast Guard and the Mexican Navy are working together in an attempt to locate the woman...
The ship departed from the Long Beach area Thursday and is scheduled to return Sunday.

There was another one of these stories a few years back. They had a pic of the women in the ocean waving her hands at the ship taken from a surveillance camera and noticed I think much later. I still remember that picture and find it horrifying. I suppose that woman never was saved.
I hope this one is.

The water is too cold off the coast of Baja (no Gulfstream), and the nighttime air temperatures have been near freezing. Barring a miracle, the unfortunate woman is gone. (SoCal resident)

It would be hard to fall of one of those balconies She must have climbed up onto it or had help ...
I havent been on that ship but I have been on 2 of her sister ships ...
Meanwhile a 21 yo man was just denied reboarding on another Carnival ship because he was unvaccinated and should not have gotten off at the port of Costa Rica ...

Those railing are very tall.
Only way you get over them is climb up and jump or if someone throws you over.

We’ve been on that ship to the Panama Canal from Tampa in 2018. Even had a balcony, it was a deal and a half back then.
Sound pretty uncomfortable. Couldn’t they have found a nice sofa in one of the lounges?
Considering how cold the waters in that area are, it's a certainty that the sharks are "chowing down" on her as we speak.
Well, at least she was vaxxed, so there's that...
If she hadn't been vaxxed, it would have been much worse.
