There was another one of these stories a few years back. They had a pic of the women in the ocean waving her hands at the ship taken from a surveillance camera and noticed I think much later. I still remember that picture and find it horrifying. I suppose that woman never was saved.

The water is too cold off the coast of Baja (no Gulfstream), and the nighttime air temperatures have been near freezing. Barring a miracle, the unfortunate woman is gone. (SoCal resident)
