We broke everything in the name of COVID

And what are all Biden's horses and all Biden's men going to do about the economy now?

I used to run a fairly large I.T. department. Every few years, we were required to power down the entire computer room while the factory underwent electrical maintenance. It was always a dicey operation to shut down systems that had been running for years. Such systems don’t like having their power cycled off and on. In spite of our best preparations, we never knew if the hundreds of computers, switches, and routers would simply turn back on. They rarely did, and we generally faced days of troubleshooting.

Our system of commerce is the engine upon which our economy depends, and it is far more complex than any computer room. It comprises suppliers, producers, logisticians, and customers all working in coordination, with precise timing. It is a complex ballet of:

Harvesting raw materials Crafting those materials into products Delivering products to waiting customers Who in turn provide other products and services to their customers And the ballet continues in perpetuity To assure that products arrive where they are needed, when they are needed, the engine of commerce includes the work of millions of companies and billions of people, working in compliance with millions of standards and regulations. In our global economy, everyone on Earth is part of the system. How’s that for complexity?

To be blunt, we were naive to think it could be cycled off and on at will. Yet when COVID arrived, we started tampering with the engine. Our all-knowing leaders ordered some businesses closed yet allowed others to remain open. They thought they understood which businesses were needed, but they didn’t.

Leaders ordered some workers to stay home yet allowed others to work — designating them essential.

The 7th jab should fix everything.

💉💉💉💉💉💉💉

Yeah, that’s the ticket.

We are being led by a leftist hoard with twisted theories about how the country works, but many, maybe most, have never held a real job that would give them insight into how the (supposedly) free enterprise system works.

This is not the first time the world economy took a hit (think WWII) and then recovered (over time).

What is different this time is that our “leaders” intentionally set out to destroy the world’s economy so they could rebuild in their utopian ideal.

The world economy will not return to normal as long as every person involved in this mess is removed from power (from Presidents down to city mayors and all their staffs).

This also includes all the Judas Goats in Hollywood and in the media that have pushed the government line.

We are being led by a leftist hoard with twisted theories about how the country works...

We have been led by a leftist hoard with twisted theories about how *they* wanted the country to work for the last century. A way of working where evil is behind a seemingly good facade. There is satanic pedophilia abounding in media and hollywood, and total naked short selling on wall street - pumping and dumping the financial markets, elections have been a farce, and wars created almost out of thin air for trafficking, arms dealing and the drug trade. We are kept in fear to obey.

What we are seeing take fold right before our eyes is taking down the entire corrupt "system" of the elites, and a realignment of society.

NCSWIC. Nothing.

This is not something that we can fix by engaging in passive resistance. The other side isn’t playing around. The only rule is that there are no rules.

I worked through TWO total data center blackouts with 1000s of computers. One was caused by the weather where snow smothered the backup generator and one human error by an electrician. The first outage happened around 7 AM. I recovered the last system to come up at 5 AM. Surprisingly few hardware problems after system crashes. The tricky part was restarting systems in the proper order due to NFS dependencies. I always hated NIS and NFS.

Gall's Law is a rule of thumb for systems design from John Gall's book Systemantics: How Systems Really Work and How They Fail. It states:
A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked. A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work. You have to start over with a working simple system.
But then I guess the progressives goal is to start all over with a simpler system that they and they alone can control.

Well said!

The destruction of America has been a work-in-progress long before Trump. Trump’s MAGA would have stopped and then reversed it. They don’t want that. They would rather rule in Hell than serve in Heaven.

For 4 years, Trump railed against a Fake News, which, teamed with their friend China, has given the world the ultimate fake. The Virus, which China gets off scot-free for releasing on the world, is gleefully used by the fifth-column presstitutes to promote the fake that will destroy what is left.

The author brings up an interesting point I would like to note. The computer systems he worries so much about being shut down need more robustness. So does America’s economy and infrastructure. Just-in-time manufacturing, global supply chains and mail-delivery merchandising are like roads that are in a constant state of repair. They are one incident away from total failure.

From the article: "Our engine of commerce will eventually come back to speed. But only after Nemesis has treated us to a few years of bitter learning."

It may NEVER get back to where it was. There may have been a real paradigm shift.

It may be as irreversible as the idea of the British Empire returning to its former glory.

Right-and the people doing all the damage will never have to live in their new ‘utopian dream’.

They are stuffing their pockest so they can insulate themselves from the new order

President Asterisk ... spending like a drunken sailor (apologies to drunken sailors)

As well you should apologize to drunken sailors ... they may spend wildly -- in this matter, insanely -- but it's their money they're thowing away.

During the French Revolution King XVI tried to run and hide and he may have made it if he hadn’t try to take as much wealth with him as he could.

Moral - having a pocket full of gold does not protect your from the howling dogs chasing you but only slows you down.
