Bunk. The Germans suffered from starvation and disease along with those in internment camps because of the Allied destruction of their food supplies, medicines, etc. I once read Bettleheim’s book Love Is Not Enough. Pyschobabble.

The beauty and tragedy of humans is that we are all the same while all being different.

“But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who live are constantly being handed over to death because of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal flesh.”

I post this passage over and against all the experts who think it is their duty to “fix” every affliction known to man, whether physical or psychological. Even St. Paul had to be taught that some afflictions are best left that way because, as the LORD said to him, “My power is made perfect in weakness.” This does not comport with our reason, but it is precisely in accord with how God deals in mercy, love, and faithfulness as opposed to power, might, and glory as man conceives of them and would aim to put God on a leash.

*** He was never the oracle media made him out to be, Sanders said, but he began his career with a true desire to help. Then came the media spotlight, the book deals, celebrity status, and wealth. What started as medicine became corrupt bombastic certainty, a willingness to destroy people if it meant never having to admit he was wrong.***

Sounds exactly like Dr. Fauci to me.

There were no studies to support Bettelheim’s Faucci's work, so he required the unquestioning, devout allegiance of his team to constantly remake reality so that it conformed to his recommendations.

Powerful story. Worked with “differently-abled” adults for a couple of years, and saw some things. Like how drugs are used, misused and abused by doctors who see the patients merely as guinea pigs, and the doctors would raise/lower dosages, mix drugs, etc. The poor patients would be like pinballs on the table of life - bing! bong! flash! CLANG!
When covid-19 surfaced, it didn’t take long to recognize Fauci for the charlatan he is, either. NIH has touted the effectiveness of both HCQ and Ivermectin, yet Fauci lies about both compounds. How many have died to make Fauci wealthy?
He’s a liar. Yes. And worse. And when the history books are written, the progressives of today will be recorded in the fullness of their immoral demands that everyone get the jab. Those people will not enjoy how their portraits are painted.

I so much needed to read this.   I had a second cousin who lived and died in an institution.   I have photographs of my brother and I playing with my autistic cousin and his brother when we were young.   All four of us were born within three years of each other in the early 1950's.   I remember Tommy from many family reunions and other occasions but I have no memory of his brother, my autistic cousin.

As I think back I think of their mother, my Dad's niece who was partially destroyed inside by the bad mother syndrome.   I am sure the so called experts believed the bad mother syndrome was compounded in their eyes by the death of her father, my Dad's half brother, eight months before she was born.   I could compassionately identify with what the author wrote.

Then, for the author to equate what she had experienced with her son's condition, with what we all have experienced with the Scamdemic Covid19 really hit home. &nsp; I was in a mildly roiling anger the whole time I read the article.   This self-evident truth should be seen by every citizen.
