I had a boss years ago who was vegetarian, tall. I think his dad had died of a heart attack when he was young and had a fear of fatty food and going the same way.
He had a cold and cough that he could never shake. It went on for more than a month and he kept looking paler and thinner.
One afternoon I said, “Jim, go home and have a big, juicy steak for dinner tonight.”
Next morning he came in, said he took my advice and said he felt better. Within another couple days he was over his illness.
He looked at me with this big smile on on his face and said, “I never would have believed it. It worked.”
He was never a vegetarian again.
Out of desperation she finally ate some beef jerky and it healed up in just a few days.
Before you head off to your bakery with $100 for a load of your favorites consider that East Anglia was deeply involved with Michael Mann and the “Hide The Decline” efforts when the Globull Warming types were having their “results” first questioned.
It was conclusion first then screw with the data to fit your conclusion - remember the hockey stick graph? Ask Al Gore. He knows.
Just sayin’ ;-)
Hell yeah…I’m ok in that regard also!
The slightly overweight have the longest life expectancy so I have heard.
Like most medical things, there are advantages and disadvantages to everything. You have to play your odds.
But skinny/scrawny, while I see advantages to it, is not necessarily the ideal.
Dadbods!! Yes.
I’m safe.........................
Trust the science! ;)
