BOTH sides have rested in the criminal trial against Josh Duggar.
Duggar was charged in April of 2021 on counts of receiving and possessing child pornography, to which he pleaded not guilty.

There is not yet a verdict for Josh Duggar.
After defense rested on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, final arguments in the trial were scheduled for Wednesday, December 8.
Following closing arguments will be a jury deliberation.
Prosecution rested its case on Monday, December 6, before Duggar's attorneys took the stand.
Forensic computer analyst Michele Bush told Duggar's attorneys the computer where child pornography was downloaded could have been accessed remotely.
Defense argued that someone else may have downloaded or placed the child pornography onto the computer at Duggar's workplace, where police located the files.
They added that no child pornography was found on Duggar's personal computer or phone.
Bush told prosecutors that her experience as a forensic computer analyst included time as a college student, according to KNWA-TV.
After telling the defense that she had testified multiple times in court as an expert witness, Bush admitted under follow-up questioning that the Duggar case "might be" her first federal criminal court case.

But he also is a victim of the culture wars. The leftist media has been gunning for the Duggar Family evert since it came on TV and their ratings skyrocketed.
I mean really. What Abortionist would not want to destroy a family with 17 Christian Children, so to speak?

In the end it was almost like they were coming out and saying “josh did it” but couldn’t.
Then that family snickering in the court room? These people are like school in summertime...NO CLASS.
Let’s put it this way, I’m shocked the jury has not already come back with a guilty verdict.

This is the way I was reading it too .... opining as to why would Josh’s lawyers put up an “expert witness” so unqualified that the prosecutor could ‘blow her away’? My point was perhaps they used such an unqualified “expert” because a true expert, with trial experience, would not have been able to truthfully testify in a way favorable to Josh. I hope that’s more clear as to what my thoughts were.
It does seem strange that was the best Jim Bob Duggar’s money could buy. Only thing I can figure is that the lawyers know Josh is guilty as sin too and in good conscience want him taken down.

It’s a puzzle because Josh’s family is certainly standing behind him & there is plenty of money for a defense. It makes me sick to see him hand-in-hand with Anna .... I don’t know how she bears to even be around him, knowing what he’s done & what kind of a warped, perverted mind/personality is lurking in that man. BUT, I’m not in her shoes (thank goodness) and I suspect she’ll be making jail visits in the near future. Jail time won’t undo the damage he’s done, but at least it keeps him from inflicting it on other kids for the time he’s incarcerated .... he’s not going to have an easy time in jail.

Jail time will remove his evil presence. It will also send a clear message to Jim Bob and Michelle but will most like be lost on those two.

IMHO, a “bad boy” would have been when he cheated on his wife and the whole Ashley Madison thing. Watching films/videos where a 7 year old girl performs oral sex on someone and a infant is posed and then burned on her private parts with melting, hot candle wax is more than being a “bad boy”. ANYONE can state they are Christian. ANYONE can pretend to be pro-family, pro-whatever. I don’t think, IMHO, this has anything to do with a culture war against a so called “Christian “ family.
