(WCIV) — Former United Nations Ambassador and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was honored Thursday evening by The Citadel Republican Society, but spent much of her speech making predictions for the GOP's political future.
“Just like Carter, we’re going to make sure Joe (Biden) is a one term president. You mark my words," said Haley during the speech. Despite making that prediction the two-term South Carolina governor did not make a commitment to running for president in 2024.
Despite not taking the plunge, many in the crowd were egging her on the do so, one even shouting out a prediction of his own.
“That’s our next president of the United States," he yelled. While Haley didn't comment on the outburst directly, she did acknowledge it by blowing a kiss in the direction of the person who shouted it.

Yes....a while back some on FR commented about Liberals in Georgia registering as Republicans so they can vote in the primary and keep Kemp in the race. Included was a link to the thread on REDDIT. Sure enough, there they were talking about how to go about changing their registration and if they would be obligated to vote for the Republican in the General Election.
They have a plan and procedures.
She is no Padma
Is this a Jeopardy answer?
Alex, “Who are 4 losers that politically cross-dress as Republicans?”
No eff'n way. 1.) She's a RINO. 2.) She's a woman.
She’s running.
Correcto mundo. I'd before repealing the 19th Amendment too.
Well, that’s just gross.
NO! and she used to be my governor.
“... she decided to do this only after the horrible killings in Charleston, since the psychotic kid who did it was a nutcase who was genuinely racist and used Confederate imagery.”
She got caught up in the heat of the moment of an evil, heinous crime that the professional race hustlers exploited to further their Taliban-like agenda. Some will say that was a smart, adroit political move by Nikki that cost her nothing.
Some others would say that she should have stretched it out and kept reminding via the media that the flag was designed and put there in the first place by the demonkkkrap party because of its deep roots of racism. Until the demonkkkraps acknowledge their continuing sins of racism which includes the murder of the unborn, the flag flies to remind us who the demonkkkraps are.
Straight over a cliff edge.
Nimrada is a first-generation American that has ambition but knows little about our country.
The Chamber of Commerce told her the Confederate flag had a link to slavery and to banish it.
Nimrada had no clue that President Washington had a link to slavery and there would be follow-on attempts to banish Washington, and Jefferson, and Madison, and Teddy Roosevelt, and Lincoln and, and, and . . . all using the Nikki Haley template.
We need more in a presidential candidate than being ambitious and conniving.
“Nah, Marsha Blackburn, maybe.”
No. Just no.
She’s all talk. She did nothing as a Representative in the house. She’s done nothing as Senator.
Nope.
She’s not the best choice of anything.
Congrss people usually aren’t able to do anything. Ask Jim Jordan. I’m not for her anyway. We are in a civil war thanks to Bush and Obama and it is getting more violent. So we need two males.
same. resting bitch face.
just a political animal with red lipstick that looks wrong on her.
fake. fake. fakety. fake.
That is an interesting comment.
What do you think about the American flag and its link to slavery?
If Nimrada is elected president, will she have the knowledge and courage to oppose the left's agenda of attacking the American flag, the national anthem, and monuments to our founding fathers?
It is always tricky opposing the left; we need a president that can negotiate the complexities by saying something like: America is not perfect, but we are not going to banish our history or desecrate our monuments in order to appease a bunch of Marxists.
