U.N. Taking Down Private Websites - Domain Level Censorship
Ice Age Farmer ^ | 12/2/2021

Posted on 12/04/2021 3:20:54 AM PST by EBH

The U.N. Counter Terrorism Executive Directorate (CTED) is now responsible for taking entire privately hosted websites offline, as they seek to take total control of the flow of information and establish their "Great Narrative." CTED notifies domain registrars of "extremist" sites -- i.e., those that promote narratives they don't approve of -- and the sites can no longer be found. This reflects a new level of internet censorship, but it is not just publishers who are in the crosshairs...it is all of us. Christian breaks it down in this Ice Age Farmer broadcast

How long before big tech finds itself labeled an enemy of the state? They have woven the rope with which they shall be hanged.

Exclusive — Rep. Devin Nunes: Big Tech Could Shut Off All Republicans’ Credit Cards and Banking
https://www.breitbart.com ^ | 3 Dec 2021 | ROBERT KRAYCHIK

“I still worry about the censorship that occurs,” Nunes remarked. “What happens if these companies just decide next year, ‘Well, Republicans, they’re all insurrectionists. Let’s shut off all their credit cards and banking so they just can’t raise any money.’ They could do that, all these woke corporations.”

Yeah I was just reading that too... And he is right. But are they going to do anything?

It’s up to us, not them.

Right now they cannot do anything. 75% are compromised in some manner and won’t stop them.

“Domain registries will start denying renewal of domain names.“

Sorry, dumb question: This will cut traffic to sites enormously, but we should use the straight IP addresses of key websites?

But a VPN won’t help with step 2, right?

Absolutely. But because we like our toys we will continue to support them until it cramps our own personal lifestyles. By then it will be too late. It will be a train that cannot be stopped.

Yes. But is it largely aimed at ads and ad blocking. Or it was in the beginning.

The script that was causing my browser not to display was called:

nondescriptnote.com

I had never heard of it, and it may not even be important, but the List of scripts is HUGE.

The issue is usually an issue with the DNS server.

I’ve never used one not in my local network, but there are public DNS servers that can be added to the browser that bypass the DNS server of the local provider.

Not sure if that would improve any of this.

My issues with the local internet provider got bad enough that they gave me a new modem. (made in China) It solved the problem of constantly having to reconnect to the system, but the blank page issue grew a lot.

Seems like the UN along with the Biden administration is gearing up to establish a global government doesn’t it?

The premise of his video is false. The UN didn’t do anything. It doesn’t have the authority. Even in Canada. The website host may have canceled the site. The site was an Aryan Nation website. That’s why ice age farmer deleted the name if the website from his video.
In short, I don’t trust what this Ice Age Farmer guy is pushing here. He’s not presenting the whole picture. That’s a red flag.

Now that is a very good question. But it is two in one. The only real difference is whether the site can be indexed by domain name for search engines and browsers or not. I honestly do not know how the domain name hooks to the straight IP addresses for sure. But I think the straight addresses could be blocked just as domain names could.

But I do know you have to have a registered domain name to get any server hosting for your site. Hosts are not going to give service to anyone who is not a legitimate registered domain. So how to access the site is not so much a problem as the website even being there to access at all.

This will be the real problem with my statement you quoted. I have suggested it for years, it is time to dump the whole current system. Time to set up servers that go completely around the centralized industry, registering, and domain name services. And use an installed desktop client/specialized browser to access these servers. The only control they could implement would be restricting access right at our own personal local internet access carrier.

This is something that has been around for awhile as P2P protocol. And it works, been playing with it for awhile now, like “Zeronet”.

https://zeronet.io/

But current P2P clients use a network of private peer nodes to replace the computing power of the huge centralized system servers. All that needs to happen is set up bigger node servers that can also handle this same protocol so the service is not just dependent on the peer node network. Just bigger private nodes per say.

Know what friend? I have been playing with the P2P desktop client protocol for a few weeks now using “Zeronet”. Takes just a minimal amount of effort to set it up, but it bypasses it all and flies under the radar, as long as you have an internet connection it is it’s own network aside from the whole mess. It needs more support and participation, but I found a whole new internet there, and you can host your own websites in the network free. Blew me away, I like it, just needs more traffic and it will trend.

Run your digital services from your home

FreedomBox is a private server for non-experts: it lets you install and configure server applications with only a few clicks. It runs on cheap hardware of your choice, uses your internet connection and power, and is under your control.

45.79.56.181 (freerepublic.com)

Insert numeric IP and it takes you to FR. If domain servers were down, it would still take you here but the numeric address would remain in the browser’s url field.

FR actually had a problem with their domain name setup last year but the site could still be accessed via numeric IP.

Before the Internet there were copy machines and direct dial bulletin boards. Copied material traveled by people meeting to discuss events, with guest speakers from out of town. That is how I learned about the “New World Order”, the coming global dictatorship. So, from about 1980 I watched it happen in the predicted sequence.

This works a lot like Zeronet does. The Zeronet software builds a server/client in your machine for you that hooks to the P2P network. Sounds like the same features and capabilities.

Have you played with Zeronet yet? I am finding it pretty cool. I set it up on it’s own drive and OS and it is working great. One thing it does need though is a GUI launcher for it to be easier for non techy folks. If I can get caught up I am going to try and make one for it. :)

Hadn’t heard of zeronet before but will check it out. FreedomBox has an online demo. https://freedombox.org/demo/

They’ve got builds for all the single board computers like Raspberry Pi etc and a Debian build for machines that already run a Debian based Linux.
