FOUR bears go after the deer carcass and only eat the TAIL?

Is Whitetail Tail a bear delicacy?

Is something wrong with this tall tail tale?

The lady hunter should have tried yelling at the bear like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nU5cMZymSr0

These must be Democrat bears eating someone else’s deer.

“I was so terrified of a bear, and my husband was like, ‘I’ve never seen a bear except for this one time.’ He said, ‘Don’t worry, you’re not gonna see one,’” Zabinski said.

Technically correct. She didn’t see one. She saw four!

If the bears want the deer, they can have the deer. I’d get the heck outta there. Maybe climb back up on my stand.

So you shoot a deer and get to shoot 4 bonus bears?!
That could have been the best hunting story EVER.

4 bear skins would have been an awesome thing!

“Which was only missing the tail”

Maybe that deer owed them money.

Hey! It’s Pennsylvania.

Was only missing its tail.

Even bears need a piece of tail occasionally.

I remember a story in Tap’s Tips in Outdoor Life many years ago where a hunter shot his first buck. Excited and not quite sure what to do, he remembered his buddy telling him he wanted the tail for tying jigs. So he cut it off first thing.

However, the deer was just stunned. It woke up and ran away leaving the hunter holding its tail!

“Now I know that if I just yell they are going to run.”

I live in PA close to game lands. We got a black bear in our yard trying to get into our chicken coop. I opened the door and yelled as loudly and threateningly as could: “HEY!!!!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!” Bear took off so fast he knocked down the fence to the chicken run.

I was very proud of myself.

Next year we had a yearling come into our yard near the coop. I figured, ok no problem I got this. Again yelled out loudly and threateningly as I could.

He turned, looked at me, and kept on doing what he was doing. Kept coming back that summer until the game warden trapped him and relocated him.

Just be aware you can get the odd bear that will call your bluff, Mrs. Zabinski. :)

Smart bears. Maybe more bears ought to start letting the hunters get their food ready - LOL.

The trouble comes when the bears learn to associate gunfire with fresh meat.
