This is awesome... I just froze some pie crust and was debating on what pie to make in addition to a chess pie and pecan pie (hosting family next week). I may try your apple pie recipe!
I have had two big apple pie fails - one was when I accidentally used salt instead of sugar and the other was when I sliced the apples too thin and it came out like applesauce 😂

Lol ya - salt is a poor substitute for sugar! That would have been awful. Slices should be not too thin, but not too thick. I just slice it as if I’m giving pieces to a one-year old.
It was SO bad - it was Thanksgiving and the person who tried it first was a girl my son was dating. She was too nice to say anything, but she whispered to my son. He was like, “Um, mom? There’s a problem with the pie”

Donald Trump’s new social media company and its special purpose acquisition company partner say investors have pledged $1 billion. The former president, who has been banned from Twitter, plans to launch a messaging app called “Truth Social.”
One time we had a big church barbeque with about 150 people. The lady in charge of the coffee at the end of the meal accidentally filled the big sugar server with salt. People got their coffee, and one by one sputtered it all over themselves lol. The lady that did it found it hilarious and laughed herself silly. Most everyone else did as well lol.
So far, so good CB! When I take the pie tomorrow, I’m going to have to ask her for a piece to bring back home for breakfast on Monday lol.
