I haven’t taken up conversations with complete strangers.... YET.
Ut oh.....I’ve been doing ^ that ^, for years.
Is that bad?
:-)
Well, so far these lucky friends have not answered their landline or text messages. I didn’t tell them ahead of time I was making pie lol, but assumed they’d be around seeing as they have called a couple of times to invite me out. They may be away to Montreal to see their daughters. Looks like JudyinCanada et al are going to be having apple pie weekend lol.
Not only MTG but Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, Louie Gohmert, Jim Jordan and any other pubbie who speaks out.
Their terrorizing ways don’t work on these fearless pubbies who will just double down.
“How many months has this been, seems like forever”
Since June!
I just hope every phase of the remodel doesn’t take 6 months LOL!
I’m trying to find a range now. Then i will measure to order doors for the kitchen cabinets. Luckily the cabinets are real wood inside and only the doors are MDF and didn’t hold up. Lowe’s wanted $30k for new cabinets and I can get doors and hinges for about $5k. If I order soon before inflation keeps going up. Add some granite and the house will look a lot better!

I could think of worse things :-)
I would love to try one of your apple pies.
I am NOT typically an apple pie fan, but, DD has turned me into one. Her’s is the best, if not one of the best pies, I’ve ever had.
You two could sign up on Goldbelly and make $$$$$ :-)
Two good questions that would have saved lives if they had happened, that day anyway.
Exactly, Judy!
Look at the Laundrie parents who enabled their son in escaping justice for the murder of Gabby.
Have they been charged, case seems to have dropped off the face of the earth?
Fatal decisions.
True.
“Ut oh.....I’ve been doing ^ that ^, for years”
LOL, I’ve been doing that since moving to East Tennessee. I’ve had conversations in the aisles and lines of grocery stories, when taking Cooper for a walk in town, and especially in Lowe’s and Home Depot when I have Cooper. Every dog owner seems to come over to talk and show pictures of their babies.
This rarely happened in CA.
Oh, funny story - Cooper and I were walking in the forest on Thursday. Because the leaves have dropped, when we were about 400 feet from a road, i guess we were more visible than i thought! A man in a truck stopped to ask if we were lost! People here are so friendly. And helpful.
But nobody has brought an apple pie over, that’s a special neighbor. Tennessee isn’t too far from Canada, is it?
“Where was he this last year?”
Entertaining Republicans on his boat.
No, it’s not bad. LOL
I guess what I was referring to was striking up a conversation with a stranger as if they were a long lost friend.
“4 counts of involuntary manslaughter.”
That means if somebody breaks into my house and steals a gun and kills someone I can be charged with murder. So if somebody steals my car and runs over someone, same thing. The bar is very low these days
It also means parents are going to be coerced into turning in their children for all sorts of things. And vice versa. Like in Nazi Germany.
I agree. And taking a kid to a shooting range is fine. I’m not sure about the sequence of events as to when the father hurried home to check on the gun, but if you have kids in the house guns should be locked up or hidden.
You’re right, this will only cause problems for millions other responsible gun owning parents.
I’m not writing this in defense of the parents...but I think the school teacher/administrators should also be facing charges.
The school officials told the parents, after they refused to take the son home, they had to get their son into counseling within 48 hours.
The school officials then sent the boy back to class. They didn’t contact the police for assistance and guidance, they didn’t check the boy’s backpack, they didn’t suspend him.
They sent the kid back to class. We know what happned next.
darn!
your floor is done?

I don’t see that as the same thing.
LOL.....thought you were lost. How nice, though, to ask. No, in CA, and, probably ANY major city, this would rarely happen!
Our area is friendly like that, too....for the most part.
Although, I mentioned something to hubby the other day, and, now he is noticing it, too.
We have to drive in to *town*, for work, (big) shopping, etc.....which, the closest big town, to us, is a suburb. I counted about 30 paper plates, on OLDER cars, just in one day, recently. He is now noticing these same paper plates, on older cars, too. Like....a LOT of them.
I’m not 100% sure....but...I think these are temporary plates, for people who’ve moved here, from out of state. 😱
Wondering if anyone else, in red states, is noticing this phenomenon, too.
I guess it could just be a LOT of people buying older, used cars, all at once, in our area, but, I think most lots are sort of sparse. Interesting, none the less.
Yep....the school officials knew, as well.
Just a strange set of circumstances, all around.
