The best vacation i ever took was in the San Juan Islands. I actually made quick friends with a member of a commune there. She invited me to live there, said they didn’t have much need for an accountant but I could probably take care of livestock or cook. But then I told her about this really cool old, big store/diner, I saw for sale. She was really a capitalist at heart because she got excited thinking of the possibilities with that building.

I had a coworker/friend from Israel. She went back one time for a wedding. She brought back some sand from outside King Soloman’s mines. That was the best gift I ever received. I got sand from Alabama beach, so white and fine. And rocks from many places. And an old anchor from top of a hill in Oregon. How did it get there?

Well Proby still sticks to his expensive ‘lil soups. He has eaten a little ham i gave him.
I just use blackened seasoning. You can make your own, look up recipe for seasoning, but it’s a lot of different seasonings, expensive and work.
Just sautee shrimp or chicken in seasoning, set aside. Then I make the sauce in the same pot so it gets some of the seasoning. Mix cooked pasta( i sneak in some brocklii )with sauce and meat. Shrimp pretty on top.
Sauce:
Melt 1/2 cup unsalted butter (this is where I do it in leftover from sautéed shrimp)
Add 3 top minced garlic, sautéed 30 sec. Add i oz cream cheese, cubed, and little tsp of itialian seasoning, and continually whisk. Slowly pour 2 cups whole milk while continuing to whisk. Add 2 cups grated partisan cheese and ground black pepper,whisk. And stir until thick. If it seems too thick add a little milk.
Doesn’t really take that long to make. If you’re not used to hlacken spice, don’t overdo, you can always add at the table.
