Four Americans gunned down in a withering, four-hour firefight in the Sahara -- part of a 10-man Green Beret team said to have gone rogue and been ambushed by ISIS while hunting down a top terrorist to "capture or kill" -- were ill-prepared, poorly trained and "not indicative" of their high-performing peers on the continent, U.S. military officials said. And in the strangest twist of all, they had been trying to locate an American aid worker who was being held hostage by the terrorist commander they were trying to kill.
That story, as presented by the Pentagon, sounded like an outlandish tale -- but it was all offered as fact by U.S. generals ....
...Yet almost none of the major allegations made public that day by United States Africa Command's (AFRICOM) top two generals against Operational Detachment-Alpha 3212 -- the team of special operations soldiers attacked by ISIS on Oct. 4, 2017, in Tongo Tongo, Niger -- turned out to be true....

This article promoted a HULU release of the documentary, "3212 UN-REDACTED," on Nov 11, so if you have HULU, it should be up; otherwise, the article lays a lot out on the table.
Considering that neither the Pentagon nor ABC can be trusted, I don’t know what to do with this.

Must have refused to use the correct pronouns.
Just a few patriots out “good will” hunting.
Nothing to see here, move along now.
Buahahahahahahahahaahah!
I get it now !
The 4 refused the jab......earning an immediate “rogue” classification. On top of that , not one of them is “transgender.”
Milley is going silly.
He pretty much did it to the whole military.
One must remember that all Flag Officers are political appointees that must be approved by the Senate.
As the DNCMedia will highlight, this happened under Trump’s watch... That means, don’t trust ABC.
“...they faced a 10-to-1 ratio of jihadi fighters to American troops”
Not a fair fight! (for the jihadi fighters)
Where the critics are correct - that the team didn't have adequate training for what was an obvious situation (that the enemy could and did marshall 100 fighters within one hour to attack them, never stay in one place longer than a few minutes if you don't have defensive works in place, and never use the same route to retire.)
Where the leaders were wrong was that a small unit without fire support is extremely vulnerable and they had to know that going in. So, they gambled that a tragedy wouldn't happen and lost.
The survivors were very fortunate that the French were available when US forces weren't.
“...but it was all offered as fact by U.S. generals ....”
I trust the current set of US so-called generals, like I trust the fibbies—NEVER!!
