I am growing more concerned that recent gang smash and grab activity is going to move into the neighborhoods. Why not? Of all the troubling news I've seen lately I believe this is the beginning of something—a virus—that is going to spread like wildfire. I know all you gun types will be protected but watch for those around you too.

Would be a counter argument documented with 911 against any effort they may try to claim as “Imprisonment” later because you disabled their vehicle leaving them stranded after they cut and run.

 

The organized groups that terrorized my locale for a time were using stolen vehicles, often enhanced with stolen or phony license plates, so any complaints on their part are moot. Two of those vehicles got shot up and disabled on separate occasions and the sheriff's department was elated to have some forensic evidence to work with against the thieves.

Any sheriff who would have gone along with something like that would have been ousted the next election. The whole region was in an uproar over the severity of the thieving, forming their own strategies and teams while putting the heat on law enforcement to get more serious about it before people got hurt. The biggest and worst group of raiders ended up getting a visit by an MRAP and enough deputies to look like a friggin infantry assault.

The phrase “look out for” can mean two very different things. It can mean beware of or it can mean be helpful to. I assume you mean the latter.

There was very little of any of that in the msm. Was mainly all on social media where it was discussed and documented there. That period of time was something I'd as soon forget and not relive, but in vain. It sucked and probably serves as a precursor of things to come, yet again.
