I am growing more concerned that recent gang smash and grab activity is going to move into the neighborhoods. Why not? Of all the troubling news I've seen lately I believe this is the beginning of something—a virus—that is going to spread like wildfire. I know all you gun types will be protected but watch for those around you too.

Perhaps its a good time for all of us to begin ‘talking’ with our neighbors. Perhaps starting off with “Hey, have you heard about these smash and grabs going on?” Probably a better lead in than talking about George Soros.
It’s not a matter of ‘if’ they start hitting neighborhoods. It’s ‘when’. As of now, there is no controlling authority willing to put a stop to this. How did the saying go? “Better to fight them over there than over here”. Well, unless they are addressed in the retail space, homes, churches, etc may be next.

I don’t think they will. You can shoot them, and they have no idea what possessions you have.
Remember the man and woman in St Louis I believe that held guns as people were rioting. Their lives are now up-side-down from all the legal mess. I know many folks will defend themselves in their own home, but for many folks in my hood they would not have a chance against a large group.
We have a kid in the neighborhood who takes stuff when he is not in the Bug House. Sometimes people have to walk down to his house and get their gas can back. That’s about it.
He gets locked up for smacking his mother and sister around.

The local Wal-Mart had two county deputies hired to protect its electronic section yesterday.
We have created a society that allows mobs to do this. We allowed Antifa mobs to riot and destroy things, ad we allowed BLM mobs to burn buildings, homes, government offices and block freeways. It seems that law enforcement and the legal system gave up on doing their jobs. So, as far as raiding your house, it’s tough. If you kill them their relatives will come back and sue you. If you wound them, they will sue you. Since the law no longer protects the victims, we pretty much have lawlessness and chaos in certain cities and communities. And I think this is what certain party leaders have wanted, so they can eliminate legally owned weapons. They will claim it’s out of control and drastic measures must be taken.
And I don’t think I’m wrong with this one.

Why would I defend Best Buy or Cvs etc? They won’t defend themselves and clearly have the resources to. Keep the gun hidden until you need to shoot to defend yourself or your family.

Agreed. From what I understand, most home invasions fall into one of two categories.
The first is when the invaders know that there are drugs or a large amount of money in the house. The second is just a crime of opportunity. Some meth head is just checking doors until he find one that is unlocked.
I have never heard of a flash mob attacking a house. Why would a mob randomly pick my old house when there’s a big pharmacy right down the road?

New neighbor moved in, their guests have a funny habit of parking to look directly down mine and my neighbors driveway.
2ce now they abruptly hit the gas and leave when they see us. I took down the plate # and car description.
