Tell me, why do the motorcyclist deserve to die a brutal death by going under someone’s wheels? If you could be specific.
Yes, but by ramming a motorcycle, which was witnessed, it’s going to be tough to depict her as a victim. It’s not exactly castle doctrine to criminally assault someone and then escape to your house.
But the biker should have kept his temper, gotten the plate and waited for the cops.
So what? Why would you care?
She certainly had the right to stand her ground, but advancing while brandishing a firearm changes things. Clearly she went into the house and retrieved a gun what isn’t clear is where they were when she confronted him and was shot. Was he on her property denying her the ability to enjoy it or was he by the road at the edge of her property waiting for the police?
Given that she just attacked him on the road, her state of mind is highly suspect. If the police are willing to count it as self defense, then I would expect she aggressively advanced with a weapon before being shot. If there was any question about self defense, police and prosecutors won’t give the benefit of the doubt and will press charges.
Because sometimes I like to change lanes in traffic and prefer not to have some fool slam into me because he was going too fast and I couldn’t see him. Bikers like to play the victim, and my point is it isn’t always the car driver at fault.
Actually, it is. If an unlawful aggressor breaks off flees etc and you pursue, you may have just become the unlawful aggressor.
As I have clearly stated in my initial post, too many details are not available to assess, in my opinion.
We shall see/ hear more in time methinks.
Because sometimes I like to change lanes in traffic and prefer not to have some fool slam into me because he was going too fast and I couldn’t see him.
Cars speed, travel in blind spots, and make unsafe lane changes all the time. Do you want all them to die brutal deaths as well?
By the way, most fools who kill motorcyclist say the same thing. “I turned left and I never saw him officer!”
Intersections are the biggies. But 80 percent of the time, there are no obstructions or visibility issues and they didn’t see the biker because they were not actually looking or paying attention. That’s why biker survivors sue the hell out of these people, and win, because the huge majority of the time those in the cars had no excuse.
One more thing, the issue with some dummies driving cars is they’re looking for another car or truck. Not motorcycles. They look, don’t see a car or truck and then fail to yield to oncoming traffic and kill some biker. Not because they didn’t see it, because they’re programmed to look for a car or truck, not a motorcycle. They’re stupid. And the stats back all this up.
Your being ridiculous. I never said any such thing. I only said that motorcyclists do stupid things too that play a part in their injury or death. If the car turns makes an unsafe move that causes an accident when they should have been more aware, then they are to blame. On the other hand all motorcyclists should be riding defensively knowing they are vulnerable and often are not seen by drivers. Some motorcyclists, like the idiots who split lanes going too fast through slow traffic are reckless and stupid and that is their fault.
Since cars/trucks outnumber motorcyclist 20 to 1, who does more stupid things or violate the rules of the road more? Cars or bikes?
In absolute number, obviously the cars. On a per person basis, I am not sure. Idiots of all kinds abound in the world which is why it is wise to be defensive whatever you are riding in or on.
Really?
What?
Lets see, you’re nearly 100x more likely to be killed or injured by another car, than motorcycles, due to the shear numbers of cars in addition to the fact that you’re much less at risk of death or injury by a biker, yet you seem all concerned about motorcycles.
Why is that?
Where as Gold Wing riders make the annoying sounds after the ride. 🤣
They have attitude issues and are violent. Had one idiot smash my truck mirror because I was blocking the middle of the lane in standstill traffic and I was blocking his royal highness from splitting lanes, then his buddy smashed my door in with his foot.
Another pos came up to my window because he ran a really red light, and I was stuck in the inter section, and had the gall to move over a lane to get out, while he was at the red light. He then proceeded to smack me througj my window.
Don’t be an asshole on a bike and you wont get run over or shot. SJ assholes arent polite bikers

I see, so you get into a petty squabble or two with some motorcyclist, one breaks your mirror and now you want to kill other motorcyclist? Brilliant!
Btw, I spent lots of time in a big city environments driving lots of miles, into the millions, freeways and surface streets, and I never once got into a dispute with a biker. Yet you claim as an innocent person, motorcyclist are breaking your mirrors and physically attacking you in your vehicle. Uh huh. Sure.
I am not really half concerned as you are. I just would prefer not to be involved in someone else’s death while too many bikers act like they want a Darwin Award.
Husband was a hard-core rider, but never Harley’s. We were looking at Indians when he died.
He always told me:
“If you’re gonna buy a Harley, you have to buy two, one to ride and one for parts.”
