#MarsHelicopter continues to thrive! The mighty rotorcraft completed its 16th flight on the Red Planet last weekend, traveling 116 meters northeast for 109 seconds. It captured color images during the short hop, but those will come down in a later downlink.
They save time on the helicopter traffic reports. There isn’t any traffic.
the helicopter thing is cool, but I would have included a couple helium balloons with a high res cameras and a long antenna, after releasing those you might have a better idea where to fly your helicopter toy

The Martian atmosphere is just next door to a vacuum. Balloons don’t work well. As it is, the rotor speed is berserk. It’s why the flight times are so short.
If I remember correctly, Ingenuity was just supposed to be a proof of concept, and maybe fly five times.
Hydrogen would probably work better than helium.

In the movies, another Marty (main character, name based on Martin, Mars) ended up in front of the same courthouse building 7 years later in 1992 (when it was 1969). In the opening scene from the past, he (Robert Red-ford, the loser of the bet) went out specifically for pepperoni pizza (looks like a quarter was up Cosmos sleeve), "shaken not stirred"* (a Martini) and his whole world changed along with Cosmo's. One taken, the other (the devious "friend" by his own hand) left.
When the facade... becomes obvious (min 1:19) a credit appears on the screen for that time:

Funny, I just looked down and I'm still wearing my orange fleece hunting season safety vest from this morning when I had been tending to the girls (the chickens).
