“The only thing I could think of would be it may have closed the door on some prosecution appeals.”

How can the state appeal a not guilty verdict by a jury in a murder trial?

I never heard of it. Please cite an example where such a thing occurred.

“I think the judges declaration makes civil suits impossible.”

What? Nothing the judge said, or can day, can possibly dismiss civil suits.

And who pays the attorneys, who pays for Kyle's lost work, education, and life during this whole ordeal? Time for him to unleash attorneys to sue everyone.

And work or schoolwise, wonder at his plans. I think that he'd be well-served to find a college that he can go to, else join the military. He heeds out of the spotlight to regain his privacy, youth, and life.

I read that the case can’t be tried in any court....under the “with prejudice” declaration.

Biden’s slander was spoken before Joe was POTUS.
He may be “immune” while POTUS, but he’s open to suit immediately after leaving office - which I expect will be soon.

Dismissal with prejudice, after five not guilty verdicts is piling on, but it brings to mind an apocryphal telegram attributed to Churchill concerning his Mother-in-Law’s funeral arrangements, “Embalm, cremate, and bury. Take no chances.”

The process is the penalty. Kyle can write a book book on this and recover his money. Hopefully.

And hopefully this makes civil cases against him difficult to to pursue. I would rather see him sue anybody and everyone.

Federal Government can still bring one of their “violated civil rights” charges.

Because Brandon's approval rating isn't yet -100.

He belonged to a Police Group for Teens. You know where his head was at...for a long time. Whatever he does, I wish him all good things in the future.

They know they need to make up something then when he sues them they can claim in the media that its all false and in retaliation of theirs.

You didn’t understand what you read. Criminal charges cannot be brought against Kyle, but Kyle can file civil charges against people all he wants.

“If they find new evidence...”

Please cite a case where that has happened after a jury acquits. The U.S. Constitution forbids it.

Kyle will be a rich man, like the Covington Catholic school guy Nick Sandmann.

Remember him? He was the kid wearing the red MAGA hat who had that creepy radical beat a tom-tom in his face and tried to stare him down.

Nick later sued CNN and many others (and won !) for libel and defamation of his character in connection with that incident.

Nick is now a millionaire many times over.

Rittenhouse will become a millionaire, also....and he deserves every penny of it !

I’m curious as to who paid for his defense.

“I think that he'd be well-served to find a college that he can go to, else join the military.”

No. Sorry. Today's military is no place for a man on the way up.

The U.S. military is rotten at the top. That will have to be fixed by the next president before it is safe to join the military.

I believe that’s what the judges ruling does...”with prejudice” means it cannot be tried in another court.
