A lawsuit filed Wednesday alleges that Alec Baldwin recklessly fired a gun when it wasn’t called for in the script when he shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins
-snip-
“There was nothing in the script about the gun being discharged by DEFENDANT BALDWIN or by any other person,” the lawsuit from script supervisor Mamie Mitchell says.
-snip-
According to discussions before the scene was filmed, it called for three tight shots of Baldwin: One on his eyes, one on a blood stain on his shoulder, and one on his torso as he pulled the gun from a holster, the lawsuit says.
There was no call for Baldwin to point the gun toward Hutchins and Souza, nor to fire it, the lawsuit says.
And it alleges Baldwin violated protocol by not checking the gun more carefully.

Yes. It is a single action revolver. They have to be cocked. You cannot fire them by merely squeezing the trigger.
Baldwin knows the fix is in with the Lesbo Soros DA. He’s mocking the families of his victims.
Not sure I disagree with Baldwin on this.
He has demonstrated that ever since it happened too. He's been out shopping with the family, laughing and going on. He's been busy trying to deflect blame by blaming everything else and even has gone as far as demanding that a 'police' presence be mandatory on all films that have firearms.
He really has convinced himself that 'he dint do nuffin'
And none of it in the MSM either.
Thank you.
It will be interesting to see how Baldwin’s defense lawyers try to answer the question “Why did Baldwin cock the pistol and pull the trigger when it wasn’t in the script?”
So sorry Alec, there goes your career, reputation, and a shit load of money you arrogant homicidal prick. Buhbye.

I disagree with Baldwin on almost everything. Especially this.
Dick Cheney never killed the guy. The guy got injured.
Baldwin shot TWO people, murdering one and injuring the other.
And it wasn’t even in the script either.
Thanks Magnum. Great tutorial there ;) appreciate it!
Even with a double action revolver the trigger pull is far too strong for an accidental discharge. He had to deliberately fire the weapon either way.
You’re welcome. I enjoyed sharing that. :)
The left cares more about language than actions. As long as he didn’t call her an offensive name when he killed her, it’s ok.
So...to add on .. I’m guessing that single action pistols are limited to the ‘old west’ period of time? I mean, all current revolvers are double action now aren’t they?
As another FReeper said, if the script was for Arec Baldwin to act out himself playing Russian roulette you can damn well bet he would have checked that gun. Lock him up!
Thanks for showing that. Most people don’t understand single from double action. Everyone is so used to 9mm semi-auto action from current movies.
Single Actions were mostly early design, but replica’s are still made today, and there are probably some new ones as well. Not real practical for personal defense, but definitely still popular with the cowboy action shooters. For most purposes other than cowboy action, if you are carrying a when gun, it will be double action. You can fire a double action as a single action simply by cocking the hammer yourself. Thats recommended when you are learning and for accuracy. But for safety and when you need to shoot now, double action works just fine. :)
Correction to last post:
Wheel gun, not ‘when’ gun
Many are still manufactured today and are popular.
