There’s no sugarcoating it: The new Post-ABC News poll is a brutal read for Democrats. President Biden’s approval rating is at a new low of 41 percent. Fifty-one percent of registered voters say they’ll vote Republican in the 2022 midterms — the best showing for the GOP in the poll’s 40-year history. The good news is that the poll also provides a screamingly obvious remedy.
Perhaps most worryingly for the president, the drop in Biden’s approval rating didn’t come among Republicans or independents, but Democrats — from 86 to 80 percent. The remaining Democratic support is less enthusiastic as well: The share of Democrats who approve strongly of Biden’s performance has declined from 54 to 44 percent. Not that things have plateaued among independents, either: While their overall approval of the president remains the same, their view of his handling of the pandemic and the economy have dropped, from 38 percent approval to 34 percent and 49 percent approval to 44 percent, respectively.
So what’s the problem? It’s not “stupid wokeness,” as some Democratic strategists like James Carville have argued. For example, The Post-ABC poll finds that 70 percent of Americans — including nearly half of Republicans — think schools should teach “how the history of racism affects America today.” That hardly suggests buzzwords like “critical race theory” have much influence outside the right-wing media bubble. And more broadly, if Biden’s poll numbers are dropping because of disappointed Democrats and recently disenchanted independents, caving to talking points that Republicans have flogged for months won’t fix anything.

It is kind of like the class system in India - there is no way to get out of the class you have been relegated to. So they are stuck mentally and emotionally in that state and have chosen to live in the past. Pathetic.
Why did the infrastructure bill passage not increase Biden's numbers?
Because outside the DC Clown show passing bills matters not at all. Out of control inflation, rising crime rates, vast government overreach matter a LOT more to voters then these things that the DC political bubble world fantasies are important.

This article is spot on. The Post should keep telling its readers in the WH that they have the right approach and that if they continue in this direction everything will turn out great.
It’s actually true. Just not the way they think.
Inflation is too many dollars going after too few products.
The Government dropping another trillion dollars into the economy will be like pouring gas on a fire.
Biden’s numbers are low because the misery the Democrats have caused the American people is something the voters can see and feel for themselves. Fairly or unfairly the party in power will be blamed for the mess we are in.
Folks, this is awesome news. It means that the DemoKKKrat “strategists” think their problem is “not enough” Demented Pervert Biteme’s programs, not “too much.”
I was worried they would pull back, but looks like no chance of that. We only need about 6 more months of this and the electorate will be so up in arms that we could be looking at a 2/3 control of the House. Senate still a problem, but never underestimate the ability of Biteme to destroy the DemoKKKrats the same way Zero did.

According to the Post, if Biden does something-anything-no matter how destructive and ill-advised, then Dem voters will come running home. The fact is that Biden has attempted “things,” and every decision has been wrong and every action has damaged the nation. The pattern is becoming clear to everyone including the Dems.
Clinton moved to the right middle though, Brandon is too brain addled and stubborn to do that.
