(DALLAS) — A 32-year-old woman was jailed on aggravated assault charges after police alleged she got into a verbal dispute with two Southwest Airlines employees upon boarding a flight in Dallas and punched one in the head with a closed fist, sending the woman to a hospital.(snip)
The Dallas Police Department identified Arielle Jean Jackson on Sunday as the passenger who allegedly became violent on Southwest Airlines flight 4976 before it even left the ground at Dallas Love Field Airport.(snip)
The incident unfolded around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday after Jackson boarded the flight and immediately got into a verbal altercation with a Southwest operations agent at the back of the plane and was ordered off the aircraft, police said in a statement released Sunday.
As Jackson was exiting the plane, she got into another verbal dispute with a second operations agent. Jackson then allegedly punched the employee in the head with a closed fist, police said.
The employee who was assaulted was taken to a hospital, where she was in stable condition on Sunday, police said.
Dallas police officers assigned to the airport boarded the aircraft and took Jackson into custody.
Police officials said an investigation of the incident is ongoing and declined to say what sparked the dispute.
The incident took place during the boarding process for flight 4976 that was scheduled to depart from Dallas Love Field Airport and arrive at LaGuardia Airport in New York.

SUIS - Sudden uncontrolled impulse syndrome
There seems to be an inordinate amount of angry, borderline hysterical violent females nowadays. It’s like 3 year olds the size of adults with grown up violent tantrums. No joke. If you try to reason with them they scream over you and spit in your face. Lots of big violent babies running around. Very odd.
Greyhound of the skies.
Another one of them there carmalite nuns! feisty those are.
Even busses were once not so bad...cattle car with wings..
That is fugly. She is frustrated going thru life with that face.
Those Dallas flights be dangerous.
Old laughs about flights from LA to Atlanta, often known as the “doo-da” flight in some airlines. Stewardesses were always being asked:
“Doo-da flight stop in Dallas?”
Wasn’t she the witch in Robin Hood: Men in tights?
That’s a good one.
{snerk!} 😄
They didn’t get specific about the cause... Interesting.
Stay away from crazy women.
You just know without looking. I always hope I am wrong just for the change of pace. It happens, but it is rare. Sad.
I am trying to think of the last time I actually punched somebody. 7th grade, I think. I mean, I have gone a lifetime without the need or imminent desire to punch somebody.
Where do we get all these feral adults whose natural instinctive reaction to confrontation is to just throw a punch? Were they all beaten by their parents or something?
I don’t get it. Where does this come from? It is a completely foreign concept to me and to just about anybody I know.
Tell me about it, say what you will about men, but men have been the way they were for a very long time unlike women who have changed dramatically over the years, good grief.
She must think self control is something that’s on a car.
