I asked my smart friend on if the U.S. and China went head to head on the seas right now and he gave me a suprising answer, 5 to 10 years ago we would be fine, but now we would probably be in trouble. 1. China has surpassed us in the number of ships, 2. China unlike US does not have its navy all over the world and Chinas navy is in mostly one region thus we would be out numbered, 3. the US is not a war ready society, a good chunk of Americans would rather give up then fight unlike them who are willing to fight for their country mostly.
