So...it's 2:30 Pacific Time. I woke up after a bad dream and my mind started spinning. Like an epiphany, but in the very worst way. I am normally not one to give up on things I care about, as was the case after the 2020 election*. Demoralized yes, but determined to make my voice heard more than ever. Became very active on social media etc. It's just been blow after blow since this administration was installed and I was starting to think that a majority of people support it all. Then Virginia happened. I was elated! I felt like there was hope. Lots of it actually. The main source of my hope was that the Dems might slow down, and that Republicans would feel empowered to get tougher...and we could buy some time to save this Country.
Instead, "THEY" passed the monstosity of a bill.
In 2020 I was asking, what's the point if we can't win* elections. Now I am asking myself, what's the point even if we can.
Between the vax mandates, the FBI/DOJ coming after citizens, the January 6th political prisoners, open borders, ignoring the courts etc. I just feel like we are being occupied my something foreign and evil and are powerless against. Now add to that the soon to be weaponized super-army of IRS agents and I am legitimately becoming fearful. Not something easy for me to admit.
I feel like the country I love doesn't exist, and possibly hasn't ever in my lifetime. I feel like politics is showbiz and that the Uniparty is totally real, and they all answer to globalists which means our (the citizens) will is totally irrelevant. All we are (both sides) are a nuisance to them.
I want so badly to be wrong. Is there anything I am missing? Is there cause for hope that I just can't see? This is new feeling for me. It's almost complete dread and I suspect I'm not alone.
It is insidiously worse than all of that.
Perhaps just breathing room.....but I don’t take surrender easily and though discouraged at times Gods not told me to throw in the towel.
USA is doing great. Stock market is at record high and 55% of Americans are in stocks via retirement plans.
Real estate prices are at record high. Which means home owners are worth more. There are more jobs in USA than workers available. I see more ads for workers in stores and restaurants than ever before. Our military, woke or not, is still strongest in the world.
Yes Virginia, USA is doing very well.
Yes,....because people still cannot identify evil’s hand working amidst us. Nancy Pelosi is a good example of that and always has been. Sly, coy, deceitful, deceptive , ruthless and unforgiving, and smiles while she’s being so all for sake of “the children” she hides her fangs from.
One thing is, there is a huge gap between how bad it is, and how bad it can get.
History has some stable periods, and some unstable ones. Most of us have lived in a stable period. Human nature has a hard time with instability - it tends to go in bad directions for various reasons, one of which is “overwhelmed,” and at the opposite end, “opportunistic.”
I think you hit the nail on the head with “shaking the hearts of the people back to God.” The public doesn’t want to get straight with God, going there makes them sinners and they do not want to admit that.

It’s very important to realize that the puppeteers behind the left have been working towards their goals for a long time, and it will take time to effectively undo the harm they’ve done.
I fully believe the left have been selectively running operatives and getting them elected into the Republican Party in specific strategic districts. I believe they also have operatives working on/in a lot of Republican campaigns - including as major campaign consultants.
I too am seeing the slow but steady disintegration of this country as we know it, but I nonetheless feel blessed to have lived through some of the greatest years in our history. I have great memories of growing up in a very different California in the 1960s and as an adult, enjoyed Reagan’s “Shining City on a Hill” in the 1980s.
All good things eventually end, but what an amazing run we’ve had.
There is a much greater story here. It’s not just about the skirmishes in the political front. This is about good vs evil.
I fought this war, getting wounded many times, but still returning to the battlefield. Until one evening Satan himself appeared. The ultimate evil. The room got freezing cold like a blast freezer.
Helpless, vulnerable, and in despair, I turned upward in prayer. The swirling bright Light moved upon me and a feeling of strength through Love. Michael appeared in full brilliance.
I pointed to satan and said to Michael, “there he is, you can get him.”
Michael replied, “It’s not time yet.”
Suddenly I realized that God is in control, even in control of Satan and using him as part of a greater plan. Everything is unfolding exactly as it is supposed to happen. I was at total peace.
This event actually happened about thirty years ago, in the early 1990’s.
The visions I had at the time showed me the events that are happening now. I expected they were going to happen in the mid 1990’s when Clinton was president. But the time distortion between the levels of consciousness fooled me. Now is the time and it’s all ok. There is much suffering to come.
For the same reason that there are no atheists in foxholes, the suffering and despair must happen to get people to turn to God.
The answer to the current turmoil with evil is NOT to become evil. If we do, Satan wins.
The answer is prayer and turning toward God. Our true strength comes from our weakness, as if we are full of ourselves we have no room for God.
When God’s Love and Light shines through us, we experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.
We must rise above evil and not lower ourselves with anger to become it.
I pray that these words do not fall upon deaf ears. The Love and Light of God is the only way to overcome evil.

Generally we are slow on the uptake.
I recall the first “speech” zones on college campuses. Wondering how in the world could they object to speech [ beginnings of wokism]...now we have it thrust on us everywhere.
All because there was little push back.
Incrementalism, indeed. Yet here we are. And I do not see a return without some severe dislocation.
There indeed is a cause for hope.
In this fallen, sin-filled world we live in there have been many times throughout history when all seemed lost with no way to turn it around. But throughout it all there has always been an answer…. A “Way”.
The short answer is our life here on earth is but a fleeting moment in our eternal life. God is in control and His “will” will be done. You have a choice to go it on your own, searching at answers from here and there, never finding anything that makes a difference, or you can turn to God, BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was the sacrificial lamb who died to set us free from our sins, accept His free gift of salvation. Along with that amazing gift comes the presence of His Holy Spirit who will the live within you, guide you, comfort you, empower you in ways you can’t imagine until it happens.
“ For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”.…. Ephesians 6:12
The longer answer to your question …. And I saw longer because you will need to read God’s Word (His manual for life that contains all the answers). The Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes so that you can understand what it says.
The good news is no matter how bad, how frustrating, how maddening, how unfair this world gets…. we know the ending of the story and it is glorious!
I guess you don't have kids because at this point I am ashamed to look at my adult children in the eye. I am humiliated to be a "baby boomer" THE WORST GENERATION EVER.
Government destruction of the country, its institutions, and society is intentional.

Well where we are now people can see clearly things are headed downward.....morally we’re already in the gutter and likely in the cesspool. Economically we haven’t hit much of a hitch but that too looks to be coming.....and it’s the idea of that creating the instability people are feeling.
I have to add when Trump was in office there was a distinctive ‘feel’ to ones patriotism in the air every day....we could once again have hope and breath the fresh air of freedom...it was clearly in the air. People laughed more and began to feel proud of the country with hope it was going to continue to clear out the mud and gunk that had crippled everything.
But apart from the Almighty who gave us it ALL.....it’s nothing without Him...it really isn’t. And majority of what makes up our public now, and streaming in over our borders don’t get that.

I was going to remark to another here, that satan (usually) presents as beautiful, wonderful, desirable object. Beauty. wealth. Comfort without effort. Beware following and even seeking these “false gods.”
Many people deny God because, they reason, a loving God would not allow pain and suffering. I notice that you “get it.” It is clear to you (and to me) that God’s plan requires pain and suffering, even unto the death of His own son on the cross.
I’ve only known (to the extent I know you) two people who had a vision that changed them. I’ve a high school friend who saw hell through a hole in the floor, and he repented on the spot. He too was blessed with Holy Spirit and understands the path to salvation.
Times are going to be particularly tough for Chirsitians. We/they are persecuted all over the world - coming someday to a town near you.
