FBI Raids Project Veritas . . . Over A Missing Biden Diary?

There is a curious story out this weekend on reported FBI raids of writers or associates of Project Veritas, the conservative investigative journalism outfit. Project Veritas has been described variously as “Gonzo” or “guerilla” journalism and some insist it is more of a political than a press organization. However, it fits the definition of journalism, in my view, and that makes the raids troubling. All the more troubling is the cause: the missing diary of President Biden’s daughter Ashley.

The New York Times reported that the FBI searched two locations in New York in search of the “stolen” diary that went missing days before the 2020 presidential election. Project founder James O’Keefe questioned how the Times received the story within an hour of the first raid.

Personally, I would like someone to investigate who was the judge who signed off on the search warrant(s) and what was the information presented to the judge.

Like the whole Russia Collusion thing, we have learned that the FBI likes to play fast and loose with facts when doing political hit jobs on enemies of the Democratic Party.

I would bet that there is probably an email trail that could show a lot of corruption on the part of the FBI in seeking the warrant for the diary searches.

That could expose FBI officials to criminal charges and/or as in the Russian Collusion scandal at least cause the FBI careers of several to end. Ultimately, the fear of violating the law and being held accountable needs to be instilled upon the FBI when they start thinking about doing political reprisals on an enemies list.

We need to flood the FBI with calls asking for assistance in locating missing diaries, old photos, etc.

Damned nazi idiots.

And how stupid must they be? They think O’Keefe has a copy sitting on his bookshelf? If he kept one, it’s far away, and digital.

Moron FBI blm kneeling simps.

The FBI was merely looking for what other projects PV has in the works.

The diary is the excuse to do what the FBI has wanted to do for years. Federal raids because of a diary are unprecedented. Such cases before were handled by local law enforcement if anything illegal was perceived. There was nothing illegal. Veritas offered the diary to the FBI already and was turned down.

Perhaps their justification is claiming it was an internet crime or the diary crossed state lines. Or, they have no justification and just did it. Probably no justification.

https://federalcriminallawcenter.com/2018/01/federal-theft-laws/
WHAT MAKES AN OFFENSE FEDERAL THEFT?
Certain characteristics of an offense can result in a theft being prosecuted as a federal rather than a state offense. Some people are charged with federal theft for stealing property that belongs to the federal government. An offense that occurred on a Native American reservation or on international waters is also prosecuted as federal theft. A person can also be prosecuted for federal theft if the offense crossed state lines like in situations where a person transports property through several states. Additionally, acts of theft that involve the internet are often prosecuted as federal crimes.

Exactly, more of the cult of the presidency, captain at the helm, if he even takes a nap the universe spins out of control. And don you see how they age in 8 years? You think regular men in their 50s and 60s age in a mere & year time frame?
All hail dear leader Biden!

.
This is a grooming behavior and it’s known to Child Protection authorities.

Like Hunter getting $500 Million, they cover it up and relegate it to Right sites.

My brother in law said he’s never heard of Ashley Biden.

O’Keefe says that the organization actually received a tip that the diary was abandoned in a room, an allegation that harkened back to the abandoned laptop of Hunter Biden. However, Ashley reportedly insisted it was stolen.

So if I report to the FBI that my diary has been stolen they will start breaking down doors searching for it? This entire episode reeks.

Hunter falsely said this, and the FBi raided Giuliani’s Apartment.

Sound familiar?

Just the flimsy excuse you need to cover up going after political enemies, which of course is a felony since its the deprivation of rights, not that anyone in the communist government now running our country is ever going to be held accountable for. Not to mention its a good way to get a hold of his sources if he keeps them there.

Sound a lot like what has happened in Hong Kong is now happening here.

They don’t care about the diary. They want his stuff. His notes, his sources, his unpublished stories.

Yes, you raise an excellent point. I would love to see who the judge was that signed it too.

These “raids” were an excuse to look at everything Project Veritas has. At the rate we are going it will not be long until such raids are accompanied by the disappearance of the people being raided.
