Just a small snippet from the recent Microsoft Ignite. Watch as they tell you about the indigenous land they're holding the conference on, and tell you about their pronouns, skin color, clothing and hair.

Why do I doubt this claim that an endless variety of Indian tribes occupied that specific plot of land “since time immemorial?” Must have been a lot of wars over that plot, but of course we dare not say that.

And if Microsoft is so sensitive to the fact that their headquarters occupies “Indian land”, then the solution is simple: Give it back!

I think young libs act this way because their political philosophy is based upon the false notion that they know more than those who came before them, thus the label “progressive.” It’s also why they have no respect for America’s founding principles nor its history. In their minds, none of that matters, and the history is probably all wrong anyway, because THEY weren’t there to write it. Which is why they focus so much on erasing everything that came before them, and replacing it with the new leftist “utopia” that they can take credit for.

Incidentally, I’ve noticed a strange offshoot of this phenomenon. Young millennial leftists have resurrected all sorts of long-dead conspiracy theories and believe fervently in them. Many of them seriously believe everything from the Earth is flat, to the moon landings were fake, to a really odd one I saw where they believe that jets don’t really fly by burning fuel, and on, and on, and on. My theory about this is that this is another manifestation of their desire to demonstrate their “intellectual superiority” by appearing to have discovered something “new” that runs contrary to conventional wisdom. This provides them a platform to pontificate and lecture those “fools” who, for example, believe that we actually did land on the moon. It fluffs their ego by making them believe that they possess special secret knowledge that mere mortals can’t possibly understand. Whether they realize that all they’re actually doing is just recycling decades and even centuries-old myths, and that there is nothing new about their thoughts at all is unclear.

These leftist kids are just like new-agers (and many are that as well). Just as in the new age movement, they are 100% self-centered, and everything they say, think, and do is focused on themselves. They also try to short-cut the effort necessary to acquire actual knowledge by just deeming themselves “enlightened” on any and all subjects. And they are constantly on a mission to demonstrate their “enlightenment” by lecturing and demeaning people who they view as their inferiors. It’s no wonder people like this are constantly itching to persecute, imprison, and even kill those who they deem inferior. They have no less a god complex than did the Nazis, and are perfectly primed to be willing subjects in a leftist dictatorship.

I’m curious about the jet plane conspiracy. How do they think jets fly if not by burning fuel?

I had to sit through six hours of this cr…..stuff. Ignite used to be about products and technologies but has morphed into something unrecognizable and downright disturbing to watch. I can’t wait to retire.

Same. A lot of us are asking, “does Microsoft develop software anymore?”

I’m curious about the jet plane conspiracy. How do they think jets fly if not by burning fuel?

It’s been a long time since I saw the video that was posted about that one, but what I recall is that they were saying something like jet engines run on compressed air, or something like that. They were inadvertently right on top of half of the truth, but had it scrambled up somehow to where they seemed to believe that just the air that was passing through the engine was the source of propulsion. It seemed like somewhere along the line they had heard about jet engines compressing the air, and perhaps high-bypass engines generating most of their thrust from air that bypasses the burner section, but didn’t understand any of it and twisted it into “Jet engines don’t burn fuel for thrust.” It was really bizarre.

And, like with all good conspiracy theories, they were adamant that this “truth” was being hidden from the public. Of course, the one question about conspiracy theories that the proponents never think to ask is, “Why?” If jet engines don’t burn fuel, then what possible motive would anyone have for keeping that secret? They never think about the obvious questions, including in this case the question of how an engine that used no fuel could possibly work.

I’m tying to understand why they would do this? On the surface it looks silly, and inane, but I suspect that underneath is a much thought-out sinister agenda. Looking into more about the “Ignite” program I see that they emphasize a future “metaverse”. The same thing that Zuckerberg and Facebook is pushing.

They envision the internet becoming a metaverse. In his words Zuckerberg says, “the metaverse is the next evolution for social networking, moving past static user profiles that let people merely post comments and photos. To reach it, people would need to wear VR headsets or augmented reality glasses that superimpose the digital realm onto the physical world.” That’s why Facebook purchased the premier virtual reality headset company, Oculus Rift.

They foresee us totally emerging into the internet where we don’t just use a keyboard to interact, but we virtually feel like we are in the same room with people, AI’s, places, and even historical events we are interacting with. In this virtual world we will need to have avatars that represent us. So in a crude simplistic sense, those Microsoft employees introducing themselves with descriptions of how they look, what they are wearing, how they want to be addressed (pronouns), etc. is just the forerunner of setting up an avatar.

My oldest son is a virtual reality developer so I have experienced many aspects of this technology. He and many others see VR in a positive sense as having a wonderful new ability for gaming, virtual business meetings, and educational uses. But it can be used for nefarious purposes as well.

The book (and movie) ”Ready Player One” portrays an example of what can go wrong when people begin living their whole lives in a VR world. I more and more suspect that is going to become one more of the evil ways the Elite will control our lives and make us feel like we are living in a utopia while the world crumbles and falls apart. GOD HELP US!

Fair points and well stated.

The movie Videodrome with Deborah Harry from the late 70s or early 80s saw this coming clearly as well and was completely terrifying even for how early it came out

Distracting us from the coming dystopia would be bad enough. However, there are two other possibilities which IMHO are even more frightening.

This could be a way of getting us adjusted to a transhuman future. Now a person can just pretend to be a cat-human and hang out with Furries. With VR a person can be a cat-person in a fully immersive universe. In the future, genetic and cybernetic technologies could make this a reality in the real world. Sex, race, nationality, and even species become fungible qualities of beings in a freak show future.

This could also be a way of getting us adjusted to a hive mind future. At some point there will be ways for individuals to combine into single avatars to create super-characters that can outperform those "sad" loners who prefer to play as individuals. Over time the larger hives will win out over the individuals and we will be on a course towards a worldwide anthill.
