Beijing: China on Wednesday registered over 100 new COVID-19 infections, including nine in Beijing, which has already forced several curbs restricting its resident's travel to other parts of the country amid the new surge in infections.
China's National Health Commission said on Wednesday that 93 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 16 new imported cases were reported on Tuesday, the highest in a single day in recent weeks.
Of the new local cases, 35 were reported in the province of Heilongjiang bordering Russia, 14 in Hebei, another 14 in Gansu, nine in Beijing, six in Inner Mongolia, four each in Chongqing and Qinghai, two each in Jiangxi, Yunnan and Ningxia, and one in Sichuan, the Commission said.
Tuesday also saw 16 new imported cases, including three previously reported asymptomatic carriers, it said.
Since the coronavirus first surfaced in Wuhan in December 2019, China has so far officially reported 97,423 as of Tuesday of which 4,636 had died as a result of the virus.
As of Tuesday, 1,000 patients are still receiving treatment. Among them, 37 were in severe condition, the Commission report said.
China, which has been pursuing a Zero COVID policy, continues to experience periodic outbreaks of the virus in different places despite vaccinating over 76 per cent of its population.

It’s funny but you, the CDC, and FAUCI all know nothing about success around the world, nothing about the fake Covid tests, nothing about safe effective treatments Ivermectin and HCQ, nothing about vaccine harm and nothing about anything outside the ‘narrative’. You all pretend it doesn’t exist because you can’t refute the truth. No matter how many times you’re told, you’re like teflon and you pretend the truth slides right off you without leaving a mark, as if it were never there. Then, you resume stating there is no treatment, no success, no vaccine harm etc. You people are lazy that way.

When will you acknowledge the McMasters Studies? The Total Study? The Recover Study? the African Cov-19 Study?
Trying to associate me with the CDC and Fauci is a poor attempt to deny that others have their own minds, and their own opinions that may differ from your own tired narrative. Which parrots a discredited, self-authored study by Dr. Kory, since withdrawn in disgrace, that pandemic hustlers still use for clickbait.
But others really are capable of reading ALL the studies, old and new, to come to an informed and updated opinion. I’m not afraid to say ivermectin doesn’t work any more than a cough syrup cures a cold. It’s long past time to put it back on the shelf and move on to what has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to work.
It’s 2021 approaching 2022. We have acceptance in some areas for test instead of shot. And we have monoclonals, infusion and shots, and, even out of the UK now, a pill form of early treatment (which we should have had during the Trump admin had not the CDC/FDA/etc blocked it). And several other promising low-cost, repurposed drugs in the pipeline. And who knows what else the next six months will bring? Or if we’ll even need anything at that point? Personally, I look forward instead of clinging to dashed and discredited hopes of the past like a comfort blankie.
