A concerned mom says she’s filed a police report against North Kingstown High School in North Kingstown, Rhode Island for promoting a book with gay pornography to minors in the school library.
The pornographic book was published by Lion Forge Comics and is titled “Gender Queer: A Memoir.” It was authored and illustrated by Maia Kobabe, who uses the made-up pronouns of e/em/eir and whose work focuses on “anti-fascism,” according to a description on Amazon.
Nicole Solas, a resident of South Kingstown and mom of a kindergartener, posted a picture of the book in a display case on Twitter and highlighted the pornographic images contained between the covers. Solas also posted an image of the typed-out report that she says she sent to police, writing that she is submitting “evidence of distribution of pornography at North Kingstown High School” and that the book was made “available to minor children.”
“Gender Queer” is also highlighted in the library of East Greenwich High School, another school in Rhode Island, prompting Solas to call for the prosecution of the school employees who are responsible for its distribution.
The book, which is currently ranked no. 11 in Amazon’s “LGBTQ+ Graphic Novels” section, features discussion of gay sexual fantasies and is incredibly graphic, including scenes of gay men having sex and a scene of one man performing oral sex on another.(snip)
The book was even given the “Alex Award” in 2020 by the Young Adult Library Services Association, a subdivision of the American Library Association. The award is specifically given out to books that “have special appeal” to those “ages 12 through 18.”

But, then again, I doubt she wants to compromise her ‘fine lifestyle’.
...so leave the kids in public school, and let them rot. After all, a nice house, and nice cars/trucks/SUVs is worth it. Right?
I think that she should get them out. But she is performing the community a service by making their workers into sex predators.

The American Library Association is all about child grooming. No child should be left alone in any library. Warning, child danger signage should be outside every public library. The library catalog is not the same as the shelf contents. Gender confusion is enforced propaganda at the public library. Books, internet, library programs give girls the idea that they should be boys. Social services grab the girls and put them on medication that results in lifetime infertility. Children are exposed to tranny gay library hour as young as 3 years old. Libraries are a horror show.
Maybe she needs to work or does not feel capable of home schooling. I agree that if able the best option is to homeschooling, but not everyone can do that. Besides why should we just leave and give our public schools over to these demented leftist, it is time to fight for our schools.

I agree, not all parents or children are suited for homeschooling. Some parents were never good in certain topics such as math or computers, and would be obviously struggling to teach this to their children. Some parents simply do not have sufficient patience or flexible temperment or innate ability to command respect from their children. Not all of these parents can afford to hire Home Tutors.
I’m sure it occurred to her that she has two choices: 1) Stay and fight the perversion and pedophilia being promulgated in our schools or 2) Quit and go somewhere else.
Quitting doesn’t work very well in the long run because soon you won’t have anywhere to flee to.
Wouldn’t a Christian school also be an option?
I should add…I have friends who are not Christian who send their kids to Christian schools.
And I would too if I had kids. Much easier to balance the message a Christian school teaches vs a public nowadays.
Christian schools should be anticipating an expansion.

Seems simple enough. Hang posters of the enlarged pornographic images on frames along the public sidewalk out front, with the names and photos of the school district superintendent, principal, librarian, publisher CEO, and author. Let the world see just how sick these people are.
