‘Fake’ Orthodox father-son rabbis ‘outed’ as Christians

These Orthodox rabbis aren’t even Jewish, according to a newly released investigation.

Michael and Calev Isaacson, a father-and-son pair who live in Phoenix, Ariz. — and who have spent some 12 years performing sacred Jewish rituals, including marriages and writing holy scrolls — are now accused of being evangelical Christians.

Jews are no more a race than Muslims are.

Israel right now has Jewish people of European, Eastern European, African, Asian, and even Native American ancestry. All are Jews and they most definitely are not all of the same race.

When I am referring to Messianic Jews, I mean Jews who have come to believe in Yeshua.

It doesn't help that Catholics have been so horrible towards Jews. Every bad experience mentioned has a similar story — Catholics blaming, abusing, etc. I'd tell them Jesus was a Jew. Anyway, it divides us all.

One of the compelling things about the Christian faith is that we all have a relationship with God. And yes, believing in Christ's sacrifice allows us gentiles to have that relationship. God is not a cold uncaring entity.

Christian texts are full of reference to Jesus’ adherence to the Oral Law (later codified as the Talmud.)
That current Judaism is “rabbinic” is your (to be true a large percentage of Christians’) opinion. That Christianity is older is also just your opinion.

Ethnic Jews (Arab or European) are at most a genetic cluster group within the Caucasian race. Much like the Basque, Icelanders, Orkney Islanders, and the Amish.

But they are not a race with distinctive racial characteristics that distinguish them from other Caucasians.

Until fairly recently, many Christians of all persuasions were guilty of this, not just Catholics. For example, in predominantly Lutheran Germany which contributed to the Holocaust.

There are several Messianic synagogues out here including Temple Aviv Judea. All of the Messianic Jews that I have met consider themselves to be Jewish and are committed to their faith. And all of those I have met are hard-core conservatives--I met them through political activism.

They’re just a throwback to 1st century Christianity. The early Christians considered themselves Jewish, too. They were kicked of the synagogues and told they were no longer welcome there. Hasn’t changed in 2000 years. A Jew that accepts Jesus is no longer practicing Judaism, no matter how much they argue otherwise.

But yet, a Jew who is an atheist can be accepted as fully Jewish.
