Original “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Kristy Swanson has reportedly been hospitalized with “COVID-related” complications.
“Prayers for me please. Yesterday I took an ambulance ride to the hospital. I’m still here with pneumonia, I’m on oxygen etc, all covid related of course. I’m in good spirits and in great hands,” the 51-year-old actor wrote on Twitter Monday.

At the same time, the ’80s icon has drawn criticism for her openly held opinions against vaccination, with some on the platform calling her a contender for the “Herman Cain Awards” — a topical take on the legendary “Darwin Awards,” which honors recently deceased individuals who perish in decidedly stupid ways.

A few hours ago I watched a movie with her in it — also Kevin Sorbo and his wife. It seems that Kristy appears in a lot of faith-based and “wholesome” things now. She’s a cutie and I hope she pulls through.

Did some digging and found Cain died of Covid-19 just 2yrs ago. I thought he’d died 4-5yrs ago of cancer or heart attack. My bad.

He has had the Moderna jab and a booster.
He’s having flu-like symptoms... I told him to
head to his doctor and if he’s positive inquire
about antibody infusion.
He’s in his 70’s and is diabetic.

I got the covid and it zapped my energy for a few weeks.
I even have pre existing mild
Respiratory issues.
But I didn’t need oxygen?

Kristy Swanson, like Kevin Sorbo, has focused on family-friendly film projects and rejected the trashiness that typifies much of the film industry.
There is no Covid vaccine. There is an mRNA therapeutic which may or may not be more effective than HCQ, ivermectin or Quercetin+Zinc.
She has pneumonia. Prayers for healing.
