Jon Bon Jovi was halfway there — then came the COVID test.
The fully vaccinated star backed out of a Miami Beach concert minutes before he was supposed to take the stage because of a surprise positive COVID-19 test.
The Jersey-born rocker had been scheduled to play at the Loews South Beach for an acoustic Halloween performance, when the “Living on a Prayer” singer’s brother took the stage with the bad news just as the show was about to kick off.
Matt Bongiovi announced that Jon had tested positive for the virus after the band had all taken a rapid test, according to the Asbury Park Press.
Bongiovi reportedly told disappointed fans that Jon “feels great” but would be going “to bed” instead of performing, according to WSVN.
A rep for Bon Jovi confirmed the positive test to APP and told the paper that he is “fully vaccinated and feeling fine.”
The other members of the band, who tested negative, stayed and played their set for the crowd.

Clearly, the vaccine is for PREVENTION. Nothing else. All of the clinical trials (limited as they were) and statistical confidence intervals were focused on Vaccine Efficacay (VE) with regard to PREVENTION...not hospitalization, not ER visits, and not symptoms. Accordingly, THAT is the basis upon which VE should be based.
It very well COULD be that people who got the shot have lower rate of hospitalization and death. But that allegedly statistically significant differential is currently observed using non-clinical and non-regimented data collection techniques, specifically with regard to downside risks of these shots.
Do we have equally-accurate follow-up and recording of ER visits and nasty other side effects of people getting shots? Not really...in fact, every unvaxxed person who dies gets ghoul-porn front-page treatment (sort of like Iraq War fatalities or children who get shot) but if someone dies of a heart attack two days after getting shot number two, it's purely incidental and if you say otherwise you'll get doxxed.
This isn't science...it's political science.

In the research I have seen (not provided/funded by CDC, Pfizer, etc) the shots are neither preventing Covid nor preventing severe illness or death.

The vax pushers are twisting themselves into pretzels trying to defend the shot, but it is simply indefensible on all metrics. Like you said, it is political.

So, let’s see if I’ve got this correct:
A guy, who advocates for the vaccinations, who is fully vaccinated, wears a mask most of the time, contracts Covid from somebody who, presumably didn’t vaccinated because, possibly, that person doesn’t think vaccinations work or, also possibly, from someone who WAS vaccinated, but apparently the vaccination didn’t work.
But we all should get vaccinated because . . .

I just got over a weeklong ‘cold’ (first since 2019), some of the symptoms mimicking my illness from 19 months ago.
I was at work the entire week. Same as it’s always been for me.
NO MASKS AT WORK. I’m fortunate.
But ICGAS.
And, for the record, we have immunocompromised people among my coworkers, NONE of whom got ill after I came down with the virus 19 months ago following a packed conference room meeting 18 hours prior to my initial symptoms.
