I assume you are referring to the third cryptogram. Sunday Bonus Puzzle #2. I was familiar with that poem as child. Look up the whole thing. That poem gave it's name to a comic strip and a musical.

Good one. Puzzles using colloquial dialects can be more difficult because they break the normal rules of spelling and grammar.

Mark Twain's writings could provide some challenging examples.
