Hilaria Baldwin bundled her six children in her car and set off without a destination in mind, once she heard her husband Alec had accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie “Rust.”
“I didn’t know where I was going, I just drove,” Baldwin told The Post Saturday during an exclusive interview in Vermont. “I just drove around and around and around with my kids.”
The family was seen leaving their Greenwich Village home Oct. 22, a day after the tragic shooting.
Hilaria tells said she drove for an entire day in search of somewhere out of the public eye, before settling on ski town Manchester, Vermont.
Alec Baldwin spoke publicly about the tragedy for the first time earlier Saturday, with Hilaria by his side, from a Vermont roadside.
Hilaria hoped to be able to protect her husband from scrutiny surrounding his involvement in the accidental fatal shooting

Hilaria worries Alec will develop post-traumatic stress disorder after the incident which killed cinematographer Hutchins, 42, and wounded director Joel Souza, 48.
“I brought [Alec] up here because we have to mourn Halyna’s death,” she said. “Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD.”
“You look at what happens to soldiers and police officers when something like this happens, it’s traumatic. We just came up here for quiet.”
Asked whether Alex would act again, was hopeful but not certain.
“He needs space for me to take care of him and his mental health,” she said.

Don’t they have Grandparents to visit?
This would be an appropriate time for Alec and his Bride to leave the kids with a Grandparent for a few days, so the two adults can have some peace and quiet.
Every family is different. Maybe Alec wants/ needs to be surrounded by his little tribe right now. Some folks fear being alone with their thoughts.

Of course, Baldwin by the time this is over will be more of a victim than either of the two people he shot. Its every inch a Narcissistic trait.
If Baldwin has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, then he is not capable of the feelings you describe. Its all about him, his pain, his devastation, his grief, and he will constantly work overtime 24/7 to make himself the victim. And judging from what im seeing in the media, its exactly whats happening even to the point of Baldwin getting annoyed when his wife looked to upstage him in the interview. No one upstages a Narcissist, ever.
The gun did not throw itself into his hand, point itself at the woman, and pull its own trigger, honey.
Your husband violated every rule of basic gun safety and is now a murderer for it.

That poor woman is dead, her husband and child without a mother and wife, and it’s all about you.
I hope he feels the need to watch over his shoulder every step he takes.

She can’t even take care of her own mental health. She wanted someplace quiet so she can hold a press conference and ramble incoherently for the sake of Alec’s peace of mind. Six kids in a car with mommy wandering aimlessly would be a great plot for a horror story. You don’t even need a psycho-killer clown. Paging Stephen King!
