They fell for the “two weeks to stop the spread” too, huh?
I wonder what the role weather has in this. I am guessing most of Russia is starting to get cold right now. Colder weather is forcing more people doors with more re-circulated air due to the heating being on.

Jeez… no exceptions for folks who have achieved natural immunity. The Moscow mayor is as dumb (or as evil) as our DemocRAT governors!
If ol’ Vlad served Polonium Soup to Dr. Fauci, I wouldn’t shed a tear.
Our pandemic priests must be salivating at this idea about how to punish the vax heathen.
” to remain home for four months until late February”
Stay at home in Moscow? From November to February? Noooo problemo....it cold out there!
Russia has had almost 2 years to prepare for covid patients.
People there should be up in arms.
Oh and.....what ‘Covid crisis”?
>> to stay home for 4 months
Not long enough for another round of classical compositions...
Don’t give Joe any ideas
It’s just the flu.
I have a friend from Russia, whose father and brother died from covid in Russia. The ambulances in Russia come to patients’ homes and treat them there. In both cases, the doctors and nurses in the ambulances told the patients to stay away from the hospitals. That people are catching covid in the hospitals and dying. Both patients had non-covid related illness, but eventually had to go to the hospital where they both caught covid and died.
They’re doing it right. Notice how its not everybody. Its only those who are at the most risk from Covid. Everybody else needs to carry on working, going to school, etc.
This is what a sane policy for every country would have looked like.
Will the gov’t deliver food, medicines, free cable TV, rent etc. during the stay-home order? What’s not to like? /s
This is what we should have done at the beginning. But, it's too late for that now. We should have let the old and those with compromised immune systems stay home. Those 30 and younger and healthy should have kept working and kept the economy going. We could have taken care of those who stayed home. We could have brought them food, and any other assistance they needed. This is America, and taking care of our most vulnerable is what we should have done. Had we done this, we likely wouldn't even be talking about covid right now.
