Olivia Newton-John’s dance-pop anthem “Physical” turned 40 this year — and it’s still as iconic as ever. The Australian singer, 73, looked back on the song’s legacy and revealed the lyrics may have been a bit too “raunchy” at the time of its release.

In fact, she didn’t immediately get that it was salacious. “I don’t think I was really aware of how raunchy it was when I was recording it until afterward, and that’s when I freaked out.”

Well I’m glad she cleared that up.
Here and I thought it was about a trip to the doctor’s office to get a prostate exam.

That photo of her from Grease and Farrah’s swimsuit pinup really made us regular girls of the 70s realize we were NEVER going to add up! Talk about unrealistic comparisons!
What about that outfit that she wore in Grease? Lol.
Yup. Apparently, they had to stitch her into it and she couldn’t go to the bathroom once sealed tight.
