If the parking lot at the government center is anything to go by, we’re all going to be in trouble very soon.
Fairfax County, Virginia, one of the richest counties in the nation, lies figuratively in the shadow of the nation’s capital. Highly-paid federal government workers and government contractors are the reason why.
I recently visited the offices of Dranesville Supervisor John W. Foust (located in the McLean Government Center)—one of many sitting on its Board of Supervisors. Two signs—one is for electric vehicles, the second is for hybrid vehicles—greeted me.
Those signs identified the prized parking spaces nearest the entry to this facility. They seem even closer to the doorway than the handicapped parking spot. I guess being handicapped is just so passé these days.
So now we have two classes of citizens. The most favored parking spaces are for the woke (the owners of hybrid and electric vehicles) and the rest of us are consigned to second-class parking spaces.
I thought the mantra of the Left was to battle against divisiveness. Do such signs not divide us? I think so. When I brought this to the attention of the young lady minding Supervisor Foust’s office, her response was to tell me that “there are plenty of other parking spaces available.”

What GALLS me is that taxpayer money paid for those signs!
The few years I lived in Buffalo, NY area, whenever the county executive changed, ALL the signs on parks and public spaces changed. They were wood and had to be carved and painted green and gold.
Here in Texas, parks and public spaces don’t have politicians names on them - just the name of the park.
Unless it says towing enforced or lists a fine or penalty, park there anyway. Some business like Whole Foods have reserved spots for hybrids or electrics. I park there anyway.

At the Harris teeter in Florida they have reserved veteran spots which I happily use when available (no idea we had as many other vets here as the spots are generally filled). Some teenage bimbo got out of car recently. I Asked her what crack unit she has served in. She seemed oblivious to my comment.

Have you seen the “Expectant Mother Parking” signs? They’ll be bumped back to the second parking row...to be replaced with “Aborting Mom Parking Only” signs.
The left has divided us by language, skin shade, vax status, type of car owned. It gives special privileges to one and persecutes the other. All part of the big plan whose ultimate goal is the total subjugation of all in one big repressed miserable family.

That depends on how good looking and hot she happened to be.
We were married in Fairfax back when it was more country than city, back before the government got so large and the rich moved in. Very nice, quite conservative. The place is likely quite unrecognizable now.
I shop at Whole Foods. They have great stuff. Huge beer and wine section. Excellent food. Staff is always polite and helpful. Commies through and through. But polite.
A conservative friend of mine worked there for awhile a few years ago. Excellent pay but if he said one thing that was “not woke” he would’ve been cast away and fired. Or worse. He said the store room conversations were unbearable.
Why isn’t the city government making them pay for the electric in those prized parking spaces?
Yea, like if you have a solar charger for your phone on dash board there is nothing they can say.

Never park your car next to a electric vehicles they self ignite unless you need the insurance money.
