Doesn’t seem to have been THAT effective to begin with. How could it be proven to have been so. Reduced infection rates, hospitalization rates, death rates...... Or did that happen natuarally. Based on the “break through” case numbers, who knows?
Check out these numbers, all verifiable and published by the CDC and NY Times as of 10/17/21:
In the US:
•45 million people have had Covid
•225 million have had asymptomatic cases (per the NYT, for every 1 COVID case there were 5 asymptomatic cases)
•189 million have been fully vaccinated
All of the above adds up to 459 million people
The US has population of 328 million
Even with duplication we should be nearing herd immunity. Unless the vaccines are worthless.
